Rhode Island has played against far more superior competition than Akron. This is already a good team last year, now they're even better thanks to that added experience.

Rhode Island +1 looks golden. RI has three quality wins over very quality teams, BC, Providence, and Okie State. Akron on the other hand has zero, including loses to NC State in which they were hammered and a loss to TAandM which was a twelve point loss. Also Akron's skeaker wins are against lowly opponent. Rhode Island all the way, feeling good about RI here. RI wins by 7 in a battle to the end.
