ok guys it's been another 50/50 kinda night so far. Two home favorites who were supposed to be more talented didn't only fail to cover, but lost.
I watched the VCU/NE game. NE played tremendous defense, VCU blew an early lead like chumps. Then they couldn't get in the paint and started lobbing up hopeless tre's. Home crowd and band were awesome, though. They were NOT.
NE has travelled over 10,000 miles in 2 weeks I was surprised by their tenacity.
Rider came back and beat Manhattan at Manhattan after being down big :-)
EK doing it. :-) St. Peters. :-) CoC beats NC (wow) bla bla. ok to the TOPIC.
HARVARD. Coming off a nice win at Seattle 92-71 @ Santa Clara as favorites.
The Ivy League (think smart, they make the MOST of the talent they have) team has won 3 in a row (10-3) SC is (8-8).
When Harvard returns back to Massachusetts, Ivy League play begins.
Here's their rec:
Nov 13 @Holy Cross Won 87-77
Nov 15 William & Mary Won 87-85
Nov 20 Bryant Won 77-51
Nov 23 @Army Lost 53-56
Nov 25 New Hampshire Won 78-60
Nov 29 @Boston U. Won 78-70
Dec 2 Rice Won 85-64
Dec 6 @Connecticut Lost 73-79
Dec 9 @Boston College Won 74-67
Dec 23 @Georgetown Lost 70-86
Dec 28 MIT Won 88-61 8-3
Dec 30 G. Washington Won 66-53
Jan 2 @Seattle Won 92-71
They shoot 78% FT's and 49% Field Goals.
As you all know, Santa Clara on the other hand has had issues. They haven't managed to beat anyone competitive.
They shoot 40% from the field and 70% FT.
I'm fairly confident Harvard can beat this team by 10. I do not believe being on the road will get to them at all. This is a team that hung to final only 6 points differential @ UCONN last month. UCONN. Do you think Santa Clara could do that ? . No.
HARVARD -6.
