Duke/Gardner Webb O/U

I started writing this without doing any research and then decided before hitting submit I better check on a few things........after I did, I deleted it and started over. Here's what I like about this game. Duke's only 2 wins by more than 35 points (the spread tonight) were against Charlotte (a very good team that just beat the crap out of Gardner Webb) and against Radford, another big south team like Gardner Webb. My first inclination was to take the 35 points just because it's so damn many. Scratch that though, take the OVER. 148.5. Both games Duke won by more than 35, Duke scored over 100 points, and the game easily went over the 149 we would need tonight. Gardner Webb will score at least 50, probably more like 60 in a game of that speed, giving an easy OVER. Also look at the first game of the year, they won by 34 points. They scored 96, opponent, 62. With a spread like this, you have to expect scores like this.

My sportsbook just put the O/U up...I got it at 147.5.

I put two units on that...as well as 2 units on 1st half going over 71.5

No thoughts on Portland St/St Mary, but leaning Portland St. +7.5 (1H). I also like:

Georgia St. +10 (1H)
Georgia St./Florida St OVER 53.5 (1H)
Southern Utah +10.5 (1H)

2nd half duke will be up big late and put in their scrubs.......they'll be easier to score on for gardner webb and they'll fight til the end. nobody wants to lose by 40

i took over 37.5 first 10 minutes and under 80 for the whole half, looking to hit both but can't really lose both
