It sucks to lose like that, but it happens. I just don't want to hear the idiots come out with the " I knew GM was the play". The fact is, they got lucky. That being said, luck is a huge part of gambling.

I had Dayton and San Jose State today. Bad news bears in the 2nd half. San Francisco brings 53 points in the second half? George Mason roars back?

I just suppose I'll have to win the manies tomorrow.

san jose st was the 1 that did me as well didnt touch the gmason gm until halftime and then took them -2 2nd half did same thing with frisco. only 1 i tried this with that burned me 2day was temple/mia-ohio took temple for gm then tried to hit that juicy middle with mia-ohio-2.5 2nd half. last year was the 1st year i started betting alot of col hoops and i have no idea how well this actually works long term but i cant tell you how many times when you get 2 teams with a reasonably low spread to start gm 1 team jumps out to double digit halftime lead and the team thats down is somewhere between -1 and -3 for the 2nd half seems like more often then not that team makes a run and you got a nice middle or at least cover yourself on your original bet. if any1 has any solid info on this instead of just my memory of recent history think it would be great

These things happen every day. Some days you're on the right side, some days you're not. And I don't care how much time you spend analyzing and handicapping games, sometimes there's nothing you can do about which side of the equation you end up on.

You right it happens all the time best way to beat it is to be on right side. Easier said than done. I hate it when it happens.

I was on Dayton -3 and that was painful ... the highs and lows of sports betting.

I would rather lose by a large amount then a ball hair, hurts more when its so close

Basketball more than any other sports, is a coin flip IMO. The NCAA tournament doesnt produce the best team in the nation. It produces the luckiest team in the nation at that time.

That's gambling. What about all the people that had Mason +3?

When you're down 4 and you have time to shoot the ball, you are going to shoot it. If you bet a game at -3 and it is this close at the end, you probably shouldn't have bet it in the first place. Nobody bets spreads because they think it's going to cover by 1 point. You bet them because you think they cover with relative ease. So no sense in crying when your coin toss landed on the wrong side.
