Michigan State Spartans (5-2) will host the game tonight against the visitors Wofford Terriers (4-4)
Take a look here:
Isaiah Dahlman plays for Michigan State.
Noah Dahlman plays for Wofford.
These 2 guys are brothers.
"I'm the outside guy, a little flashier player," Isaiah said.
"He's the inside guy, hard-nosed. But when you put those two together on the same team you're gonna have a dangerous combo."
Now on separate teams, both players careers have taken a turn. Noah is the one putting up big numbers, as the 6-foot-6, 215 pound forward earned first-team all- conference last season and leads Wofford with an average of 18 points per game this year.
Isaiah, on the other hand, has been mostly a reserve player during his four years with the Spartans, averaging just under two minutes per game last season. All that will be put aside tonight, however.
"It's gonna be weird. There's gonna be nerves, but I'm gonna have a lot of fun with it too," Noah said.
.....
While the brothers usually root for each other and offer congratulations - like Noah did after Isaiah nailed a three-pointer against UMass last weekend - Isaiah made it clear he won't be wishing Noah success on this night.
"It's something we can both show our kids some day, talk about when we get together for holidays when we're older," Isaiah said.
"That's why this game is so important to me, cause I wanna tell them I won. I wanna tell them we won by 20 and we shut (Noah) down."
Wofford's Noah Dahlman is the leading scorer and rebounder in the Southern Conference.
If you look at the previous games of the two:
Wofford:
Michigan State:
You see Wofford has never lost games more than 14 points (against Illinois).
On the other hand Michigan State had some nice winnings of over 30 points a few times, so what's my opinion?
I think Noah definitely would play his best tonight, however if he's the key player for Wofford just put aside the ability Michigan St. has, I think he could easily put down and lose the spirit to chase the spread.
I am very positively here on Michigan State -19.5 Points to win the game, what do you think?!
