Get it while you can. Prolly will go to a pick before gametime. This is the best play on the board tonight in my opinion. Lets juice up this NCAAB forum a bit with some solid plays starting with tonights play. Good Luck!

Had a big play on the Longhorns last night that i didnt post but it was my biggest play so far this year in College Basketball. Tonights play i feel is stronger than the easy win with Texas last night.

The Duquesne Dukes struggled last night with Arkansas-Monticello which is a Division II team taking a 75-72 descision in overtime. Western Carolina is the host of this tourney and the last 3 games they held their opponents to under 44 points. The Dukes may have the better starting 5 but their bench or lack thereof will hurt them in this game. What will also hurt the Dukes is the amount of minutes their starters have played including their last game in overtime. If you look at "like opponents" Western Carolina has the clear advantage dismantling 2 teams which the Dukes had trouble with. Western Carolina has the deeper more rested team. Even considering Carolina's woefull free throw shooting the last few games i still believe they will wear down the Dukes and win this game in their own backyard. Good Luck tonight.

Do not wager your entire savings account on this play but its worth a couple units. Whatever you highest limit on 1 play is this game is worth that amount.

I'm not big on trends but here are a few involving tonights matchup.

W. Carolina is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 home games.
W. Carolina is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a SU win of more than 20 points.
The Dukes are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games following a ATS loss.
The Dukes are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games overall.

The line is now a PK as it should have been at opening. GL

As i stated earlier the Dukes should have tired legs come the 2nd half of this ballgame which should lead to the Dukes making tired fouls. If the fouls pile up on the Dukes they will need to rely on a bench that is not deep at all.

Also note: W. carolina was 11-2 last year at home. They also return all 5 starters this year. This will be the Dukes 3rd game in 50 hours and as i said before should take its toll on them as the game continues. The Dukes lost their 6-foot-4 sophomore swingman Melquan Bolding with a fractured right wrist which wont help their depth. With Bolding out, Everhart is forced to cultivate his bench with these three games in such a small window. Just take a look at the box scores from the first two games, and logic insists Duquesne will not be able to do over the next three nights what it did in those first two wins.

In the opener, guard Eric Evans played 37 minutes, Bolding played 36, swingmen Damian Saunders and Bill Clark 35 and guard Jason Duty 32. Then, with Bolding out for the Iowa game, the top-heavy minute structure continued, as Clark and Evans played 39 of 40 minutes, Duty played 36 and Saunders 35. With three games in three nights, legs invariably get tired, foul trouble can creep into the equation and a case of basketball overload can consume young players. So, these games might turn into an audition for guys such as freshmen forwards Andre Marhold and Rodrigo Peggau and freshman guard Sean Johnson.

This play isnt a trend play by any means and it may lose thats why i said not to overload your roll on it. BUT...there are some strong angles i have mentioned that definately favor the home team, Western Carolina.

Hey Ralphie i didnt look at your thread. No hard feelings but if you want to know what i saw in carolina you need to read the entire thread to see the angle i approached this game with and so far its going to plan. Close at half with the Dukes wearing down as the game goes along. These games arent won in the first 5-10 minutes. Good luck to you and your play.

43-40 at the half. Down by 3 which isnt insurmountable for us by any means.
