UNKNOWN CAPPER's NCAA Hoops Tuesday 11/17
As long I has I had to get up and pee anyway, might as well place some bets on the early games this morning. One of these years I'll watch the whole 24 hours straight.

    1.5 Units
    Northeastern +9 @ Siena
Two evenly-matched teams expected to be near the top of their respective conferences

    1 Unit
    Monmouth +9 @ St. Peter's
Two evenly-matched teams expected to be near the middle of their respective conferences

    *YAWN* Night night.

      SIDES...

      2 Units
      TCU +12 @ Arizona St. (-105)
TCU didn't let me down last night, and, although on the road, are taking on a 2nd-tier Pac-10 team. Again, TCU will be the surprising team out of the Mountain West this year.

      W. KENTUCKY +5.5 @ LSU (-103)
WK's so-so effort vs. Milwaukee gives us some line value. They are the class of the Sun Belt and have only one weapon to contain on LSU, Tasmin Mitchell. WK is more experienced, and this is far and away the toughest test for LSU so far, so there's no reason to think it won't stay within the number.

      COLUMBIA +11 @ DePaul (-105)
DePaul went winless in the Big East LY, and won't be much better TY. Columbia has a questionable frontcourt, but injuries kept them from making a run at the Ivy League title LY, and they return a strong back court. DePaul has no reason being this big of a favorite vs. a semi-solid Columbia squad

      ST. BONAVENTURE +5.5 vs. St. John's (-103)
Both these teams could be surprises in their respective conferences, but this early in the season you can't count on St. John's to turn that corner. This is a neutral site game, and Andrew Nicholson is a major weapon for the Bonnies that St. John's will have trouble containing

      1 Unit
      ILLINOIS -21 vs. N. Illinois.
This ain't football. NIU is the worst team in the MAC this year

      OKLAHOMA -22.5 vs. La-Monroe (-105)
I'm a bit worried about a Griffin-less Sooner covering this many points so early in the season, but the talent gap between these teams is immense.

      CAL-RIVERSIDE +9.5 @ USC (-105)
USC will take a major step back this year, and with one tough road game under their belts (new mexico), Cal-Riverside should be game-tested and ready to hang close against a depleted Trojan team.

      DUQUESNE -1.5 @ Iowa (-105)
Don't let the name 'Iowa' fool you. They're expected to be even worse than Indiana this year, and Duquesne returns four starters from a 20-win team.

NEW MEXICO ST. +3 vs. New Mexico (-104)
Throw out the records in this Rivalry. If you get the chance to bet on a home dog, take it and run.

      TENN-MARTIN +23.5 @ Mizzou (-104)
I hate to bet against my beloved Tigers, but history shows that they never get off to a furious start the first couple games. Plus, their inside game is still questionable, so there's no reason to think they could blow anyone out in their opener

        Adding 1 More Pick...

        BINGHAMTON +33 @ Pittsburgh (5 UNITS)
WTF?? First off, I almost missed this one as it crept to the bottom of the card for whatever reason. Second, Pitt lost 3 top players have have a very inexperienced team. Third, Binghamton was a Tourney team LY, and returns all but one key player. Simply put, this line seems too good to be true. I rarely bet more than 5 units on Hoops, so I'll max out there with this one. NO WAY this game is that big of a blowout.

Be careful on the Binghampton pick, they suspended everyone except some guy averaging 4.4 points a game. Their leading scorer was kicked off the team for selling cocaine and sniffing it off a strippers ass or something? Seriously.

Yeah, I read that right after the game started and was pretty pissed off at myself thatI didn't catch that whe nI was researching the game. I got lucky, there's no reason to deny it. But I'll take it. I've been screwed in football this year more times than I've been screwed....well you see where I'm going with this.
