Sekrah's NCAAB 11/11 - First Play Of The Year
    2 Units
    Syracuse -18

Don't think Robert Morris has the tools to replace NEC Player Of The Year Jeremy Chappell. Syracuse lost some guys from last year but I think they've replaced them and will be real good this year.

I may add another.. I'm still doing alot of spreadsheet work for this year's NCAAB season.

Adding another one I really like.. Hell, another 2 unit play.

    Detroit +18.5 over California

Their best interior player from last year Xavier Keeling was hurt in their 7th game and their season fell apart. Very valuable guard Woody Payne returns and the Titans added a pile of Big Ten transfers who will contribute. They will be improved over last season.

Cal returns alot of talent but I'm really not blown away by them. Across the board there's alot of depth, but the only real difference maker IMO is Jerome Randle. Their one loss from last year, big center Jordan Wilkes, will be a loss I don't think they can replace immediately.

Cal struggles to put this Detroit team away tonight.

Going to play another now that the line has dropped.

          1.5 unit
          North Carolina -43.5

NC Central lost to 5 teams by more than those spread last year. Duke romped them by 65 and NC plays at a pace just as fast, if not faster than the Dukies.

NC Central lost their top eFG% guy, Charles Futtrell (52.6%). The next two guys from last years team had 46.4% and 44.1%.

It's early yet but this is looking like it was an ambitious play.. Should have reviewed some more numbers instead of jumping into it so quickly. A lot of poor plus/minus seniors graduated from Central.

These referees are hideous. Central should have taken on about 8-10 more fouls than they already have. They are mugging the hell out of UNC in the paint and getting away with it.

                    Bummer couldn't get the sweep.

2-1, +1.3 units to start the year.
