PLAY #80: [2nd Half] OLD DOMINION/DAYTON OVER 66 (-115)
53 point first half. So-so shooting for ODU (37%) while Dayton made 50%. 15 FT attempts, just 8 makes. ODU needs to improve there. Lots of turnovers, 19. If both clubs improve their ballhandling and turn those chances into some points, decent shot to push this over.

PLAY #81: [2nd Half] GEORGETOWN/WASHINGTON OVER 74.5 (-110)
Lots of possessions, both need to cut down on turnovers.

PLAY #82: MARQUETTE/WISCONSIN OVER 133 (-105)
The Cheese state battle should be a good one. I don't think Wisconsin is getting enough credit for their offense this season. They have scored 73 or more in their last four straight. They shoot about 46% from the floor. Marquette's D will test them as the Golden Eagles allow just 60 ppg on 41% shooting. Marquette on offense will push tempo if allowed. They average almost 78 ppg on 47% shooting and a solid 39.8% from beyond the arc. Marquette has only been held below 70 points once in 8 games. This has the potential to be a nail biter, so FTs in the end could help push it over.

PLAY #83: [2nd Half] OKLAHOMA/UTAH OVER 75 (-110)
Lots of possessions here too with both teams hitting some 3s. OU shooting just 35%, Utah hot at 53%. Will definitely need more aggressive play with just 13 FT attempts, but if the game is close (42-36 Utah lead), FTs down the stretch should give a helping hand.

All that had to happen in the final half minute of that bloody Utah game was the Utes just making one basket. One. Couldn't do it. Granted, Oklahoma also missed two free throws that would have given me a win (I got the second half at 74 1/2 at WagerHub), but damn, damn, damn.

PLAY #84: [2nd Half] TEXAS A&M/NEW MEXICO UNDER 78 (-115)
Bad FT shooting by New Mexico or they'd be winning much bigger than 40-29. A&M figures to clamp the D down a bit more in the 2nd half if they want to make a run. The # of possessions in the 1st half doesn't jive with the high total set, so I'll try the under.

PLAY #85: ARIZONA/SAN DIEGO STATE OVER 136.5 (-105)
San Diego State averages 73 ppg and would be closer to 80 if they could shoot FTs. They have been much more proficient at home scoring points and that is where they're at tonight. Arizona certainly isn't among the most talented teams in the country any more, but they have been giving on defense - yielding at least 65 in 7 of 8 this season. 61 is their low ouput for the season, while SD State allows the same. The Aztecs should be able to work 'Zona over for 75-ish or more which means if Arizona can get that 61 or better, this has a shot.

PLAY #86: SOUTH FLORIDA -11.5 (-105)
USF has won their last three by an average of just over 20 points. Their defense has been impressive, allowing no more than 58 ppg in that stretch. Central Michigan has trouble scoring, putting up just 63 ppg on the season. In 4 games not on their home court, they have lost by double digits three times and have scored more than 53 points in those games just once.

PLAY #87: [2nd Half] VILLANOVA/TEMPLE OVER 73 (-110)
Fader-ade. Solid shooting in the 1st half, lots of lost possessions for Temple with 12 turnovers. Will need some more FTs to extend this. 'Nova has had some huge totals in 2nd halves this season, so I won't go against that trend despite Temple not being a great scoring club.

That is college hoops in a nutshell for me right now. 72 points in the 2nd half. Temple misses a couple FTs in the last 1:30, could have pushed at least. Wee haw.

****ing seriously. Over time and the UNDER gets ****ed at 65 at the end of regulation. Somebody better be playing opposite these plays and raking in the cash because these new ways of getting ****ed are painful.

PLAY #89: [1st Half] GARDNER-WEBB/DUKE OVER 72 (-115)
Run it. Gun it. Dukies should get out to a big early lead and Gardner-Webb has been giving away from home, giving up 50 1st half points last time out against Charlotte & 53 earlier in the season to North Carolina. Duke should be licking their chops here and if they don't get 45 or better, well then I deserve to lose another one. Let's reverse the curse with some Duke hotness. I love the use of the letter "U" here.

Play #90: [2nd Half] N.ILLINOIS/MINNESOTA OVER 73 (-110)
Been waiting to hammer this since I got burned last time I took an under involving Minnesota in the 2nd half. They have been a hidden gem in the 2nd half with huge totals hitting in blowout games just like this. 44-23 at the half. Gonna be a garbage time wander-lust in the 2nd half. Need some FTs here as just 5 attempts in the 1st half, but I'm following this one from at least 5 other home blowouts where the 2nd half totals killed this number.

PLAY #91: PRESBYTERIAN/OHIO STATE OVER 134 (-105)
Oh gorgeous hit chick, help thee to break out of this slump by using your T to add two points or more to the Total and your A to Assist me in winning some cash. Seriously. State even without Evan Turner should slaughter Presbyterian. Presbo has been routed by Clemson, Illinois & UNC giving up 84, 94 & 103. In the game Turner was hurt, the Buckeyes scored 110 against Eastern Michigan. OSU should be good for 80-90 even without super frosh & Presbo just needs to get 55-60 in my mind with that. Mezmorize yourself for points with the hottie with the body even if my picks suck, the lady do not. Check her out. Do it. Do it.
