I do this every year with basically every major sport. Just something fun. Ive only won twice in the last 3 years ( I consider that good).
Kansas +400 - This is probably the best team in the country, but the best doesnt always mean that theyll win. They return all 5 starts but I still think Collins maturing and so is Aldrich. That and at this number its not even worth it.
Michigan St +1300 - These guys are always in the top 25 but they also never seem to fail to lose in the worst moments. From terrible shooting to just terrible decision making I just dont trust this team, though they will be good.
Purdue +2000 - There rated highly the last couple of years but there slow play and terrible shooting just pisses me off and I couldnt actually stand rooting for this team
Kentucky +450 - Calapari seems to always know when to blow the big moments. Also this team may just have too many players that they are gonna rely on that are too young..maybe next year...
Pitt +4200 - Theyll be good this year but not as good as last year. They lost a lot but they have great recruits coming in and I think this team will go back to the slow style type play. Top 25 team, might make a small run. Think theyll be great next year or the year after
Texas +1000 - No more Abrams but I actually think this will be a better team without him. I always felt he was a ball hog. They have a huge front line this year and they have a few big recruits coming in. And Pittman should be a force down low. I dont love it, but I dont want to pick the favorite and I dont really like much else. Consider Louisville as well but decided agaisnt it
