Virginia -9

I love what Frank Martin did a couple years ago, but this isn't 2016. I know laying 9 is a lot, but I am not sure how the Gamecocks will score. If A.J. Lawson has a rough night from the field I don't think this SC team has the ponies to match Virginia. This is the same SC team I saw struggle against a small Wofford team. If they play like that tonight I'm not sure they crack 50 and I believe that Virginia can get 70 with the way Tony Bennetts team has been shooting the ball from 3 and knocking them down from the line.

ODU -4.5

I believe ODUs offense takes a step forward tonight and starts resembling the offense from last year. This team still had all the guys from last year and BJ Smith and Ahmed Caver are ready to have a big night. It also helps that Richmond isn't a very strong defensive team. They are 249th in defensive rating, 258th in adjusted defense, and even though they have the 330th SOS they get outrebounded 29.7 to 35.1. I'm looking for ODU to win on the glass and dominate in 2nd chance points.

Virginia- SC shot better than I expected, but they still got ran out their own gym. Virginia's offense was legit, especially Ty Jerome and Kyle Guy

ODU- Stith had 30 and Carver had 19. They still only shot 41% from the field, but they were definitely better and their key scorers were very efficient.

Southern Miss- should of won ! Up 33-19 at the half they unfortunately went stone cold in the 2H. This is a good Southern Miss team that is probably kicking themselves after losing 63-60 to Wichita St. And now 55-51 to KSU. They had 20 more shot attempts than KSU too. Tough pill to swallow when you compete on the glass and crush them in turnovers, but blow a double digit lead.

UC Irvine- just a bit opposite from southern miss the anteaters had 13 more shots than eastern Michigan and I believe that was the difference. They got these looks because they absolutely dominated the glass (47 to 26). Unfortunately, they had free throw woahs and turned it over a little to much, but they pulled off the tough road win and the cover.

UC santa Barbara- let Omaha shoot 55 from the field and 53 from deep. Won on the glass, but If you're gonna be that bad on the defensive end frankly it doesn't matter.

Holy Cross -6.5
Saw this line get to as low as 5 and as high as 7. Unfortunatley I got it at a pretty high 6.5 about 2 hours ago but it is what it is. I remember Holy Cross played @Michigan and @Providence earlier this season and compete in both games. They led Michigan at the half and took the game down to the final minutes vs providence. They aren't the best team, but they will give you a good defense and look for the open shot.

Ohio +16

Another line that I wish I got at a higher number, but I still see value in Ohio. Purdue has been relying on their guards a lot this year and while they are good (Edward's and Cline) I don't think they have had the fire power of recent years. Eastern and Harms have been good, but they are a step back from Edwards and Haas. I still think Purdue will command this game but I think they will win by about 10-13.

Woke up wanting to take TTU, Ball state, and Houston... instead took Holy Cross and Ohio and well that flopped in dramatic fashion. We will see how those first three fair, but today is on me for taking two teams I dont know much about, rather than three teams I know a ton about. Anywho...

Holy Cross- When the opposing team gets every look they want it is going to be tough afternoon. For a team that is better on defense than offense per every metric they didnt chase Canisius off the 3pt line at all. Canisius had their most effective night probably all season and it was not against their worst opponent per date.

Ohio- Watch almost the whole game... WOW. This team has some talent, but a couple of their freshman, mainly their backup PG, looked like they did not belong at all. I mean I am talking about getting the ball stolen while setting up the half court offense and falling over. It also did not help that Cline and Edwards went absolutely off and it is safe to say this was a get right game for Purdue.

Yale- They gave me a scare when they went 8 minutes plus without scoring a single point (15-0 Monmouth run), but they closed the game out on what I believe was a 11-2 run winning the game by 7. I have played three live bets so far (2-1) and decided that when I take these I want the favorite during or after the 1H as 1 or 2 point favorites. I hit Yale (-10) at -1.5 and Butler (-21.5) at -2.5 and they worked well. My miss was USC -3.5 (PAC12 needs to disband)... and they had a couple of chances to win but never to cover a 4 spot (led 64-62 with 4 seconds left in regulation but lost by 10 in 2OT). I had Houston tonight at +1.5, but I did not take it so we will see how that works out.

Bonnies- Did not see any box score or anything, but I saw at the 7 second marker they were down 57-64 and covered the +6 with a 59-64 lose so I am not sure how they got the 2 point bucket on the final possession (usually it is a 3 point shot) but I am with it

IUPUI- These guys.... smh. Back to back road games I was on these dudes as basically a pick em and they fold in the 2nd half. They were down 17 early and actually cam back to win the 1H. They are a lot better than Morehead, or I thought, but they couldnt hold onto their lead late in the 2H and lost again. I was most disappointed with them getting out rebounded. They should of dominated the smaller Morehead team who struggles on the glass, but oh well.

Xavier- WARNING: This is not your father's X team. They lost Coach Mack, Karem Kanter, J.P. Macura, and Trevone Bluitt and unfortunately it shows. I do not believe this team is that good, but I took this bet more on the fact that I think Detroit is that bad. They were boat raced by their last two road opponents in Toledo and Dayton and I figured this Xavier team is just about as good as these mid-majors. Guess not.

Southern Miss- Finalllllyyyy.... finally they won a road game. I have been on the golden eagles their last three games and granted they covered all of em... they have not won any of em... I am happy they got a solid road win and I cant wait to see the line on their next game. They have competed late with Wichita State, Kansas State, and beat South Dakota. I like this team a lot.

Alabama-I do not love this team, but they are definitely a solid team with playmakers from last year. They played strong and came back from a 23-9 early deficit to win. They did some bad stuff on offense with dumb turnovers due to being indecisive, but I liked how they drive to the hoop and they really do not settle a lot.

Providence- I feel Texas is never good to cover a big spread. Also, I know Providence is without Reeves, but this team is dangerous. They have depth and Coach Cooley is one of the best in the game. Another team that I really like because they are scrappy and play tough for 40 minutes

Oklahoma- Ride em. They just keep covering and covering and covering. RANK THEM.
