I really like Illinois-Chicago as a dark horse to make the 2nd weekend. Nevada can make a deep run, maybe elite 8. Few people realize how talented that team is with the multitude of scoring options they possess.

With Bonzie Colson & Matt Ferrell healthy this Notre Dame team was top 5 in the country to start the season. Bonzie’s finally back today. Watch out for the Irish to make a run in ACC tournament and sneak their way in as a real dangerous 9/10 seed.

I've been touting St. Bonny for a couple of months now, doesn't get any darker of a dark horse than a team that plays UCLA in a play in game.

I've been riding the Vols all season, they're a 3 seed so I guess they don't qualify.

Iona was impressive running the the table in the MAAC Championship, Duke better not take the Gaels lightly.

New Mexico State and Loyola both make the Sweet 16. Clemson and Miami are ripe for upsets and I don't like the way Auburn has played lately. I think SDSU could be live as well against OSU mostly due to OSU's pack line defense but OSU is a little underrated overall.

Before brackets I was thinking providence and Bama could be interesting but they each have tough potential 2nd round matchups.

Provo got a tough opening game. Don't forget how good A&M can be. Yes they have had all kinds of problems but they have the talent to beat anyone. Lots of size with lots of talent. Really bad matchup for Provo as they not good interior defenders,, they way to bother the aggies is to talk them into settling for jumpers but Provo defends the perimeter better than inside. They prob be better off dropping into a zone but don't think Cooley teams play much zone? Also think Provo gonna struggle to score vs aggies d and will prob lose on the glass as well. I still think aggies could make a run and they actually match up well w unc.

I like them both to win their 1st games (actually all 3, mostly just a fade of tosu). Don't think vols a great matchup for Loyola in round of 32. Of course trusting a Rick Barnes team come tourney time is dicey so maybe Loyola does get that far? Don't like that matchup tho, they wont out tough the vols, Williams will school that big freshman for Loyola who not the most coordinated kid.
