That Bradley pick not looking so good. I should have known better since it was a rather minor game on an NFL Sunday. I try to bet against public favorites and if there isn't that much interest in a game the public percentages don't mean as much.

I've also been doing some study. Previously I had noticed that a lot of these dogs that I bet covered or even lead at half. After discussion here in the forums, I thought I had been thinking too much and should just bet full game lines. However, I've been noticing lately that the full game lines aren't as successful as the 1st half lines so for some of these picks I will be betting 1st half only.

Northern Iowa +1 over Evansville (1st half)

Something looks very off with this one. We have 5-7 UNI playing 9-5 Evansville on the road and the full game line is only -2 1/2 for Evansville.

I didn't play this game because I did not trust this line. No Iowa been playing like trash. Evansville has been decent but is the better team. How the line was so low didn't make sense. It's not over yet, but still don't get how the line was what it was...

Thanks for the input. Yeah, sometimes these lines don't make sense and the favorite wins big anyway.

Bradley doesn't cover.
UNI doesn't cover.

Marquette covers by 1/2 point (and also covered 1st hal). Man did they ever mess things up at the end when they were up by 3 pts with 27 seconds left and ended up losing by 3. I'll take it.

1-2 so far today.

Looking at possibly taking a game or two tonight.

Stanford +3 1/2 over Arizona (1st half)

Here we have another game where the road team has a good record while the home team has a record somewhere around 50%.
