The book at Mandalay Bay should have all my picks. That's the only book I go to, the other ones are always full of creeps that remind me of Nicolas Cage's character in Leaving Las Vegas when he's out in public, drunk.

Mandalay has team totals for NHL. Good to know. I know for college hoops the major books suck for my plays especially 2H bets. If the game isn't on major TV, then they want no part of it. They figure if you are betting on Denver vs Oral Roberts then you are either a pro went to those schools and have more insight than they are willing to risk.

Usually I can be found at the Westgate as they will have all my degenerate needs.

MB should have TT's and most normal plays since all the games will be on TV. For sure, the lower Tier D1 schools, probably not. I know they had TT's, in reg, PL -1.5 and some props when I was there in November. Anyway, have a good trip. Always jealous of people visiting Vegas, never jealous of people who live there.

Obviously 1 game has absolutely nothing to do with the others. Having said that, in my experience one really bad beat or a very fortunate win seems to start a chain reaction in my games for the rest of the night.

Tonight is a great example of this. I was off to a 3-0 start. Oral roberts was up by 10 and the toledo game had 5 sec left and I had a 5 pt cushion to play with. I'm looking at 5-0. Toledo hits a 3 with one second left to send me to a loss. From that moment on Oral roberts got outscored by 25. My last game is right on pace now it will determine a winning night or if I am a juice man tonight.

It has worked the other way too. I have had bad nights turn on a lucky win and then the table gets run to the good. It's a funny, funny game sometimes

Funny thing is that I always brace for something awful to happen after I have a lucky hit (over in OT, etc). Truth is, like you said, one has nothing to do with the other. Just storylines we create ourselves.

If you'll indulge me, I had one in the Pats/Steelers game the other day. (I play a fair amount of props in the NFL. Sides and totals are just too tough.) I had PIT o1 FG in the first half for some plus money. I also had Patrick Chung over 5.5 (I think) tackles. Right at the end of the half, Pitt appears to score a TD. Turns out, Chung was in on the tackle that just kept the Steelers out of the end zone. Chung gets a tackle and goes on to win the prop by .5. The Steelers settle for a FG giving me a push on that play. If that's a TD, I lose both bets. Funny game indeed.

It is a rush when you win a bet that you thought you lost. Everyone has had more than one if you do this long enough. Time to head to the sports book to collect
