Which bets look too good to be true?

I took a break from this for a couple weeks because it seemed a lot of the weak teams were quitting late. Now that we have all the teams motivated I think we can see some real upsets.

Yesterday I thought there were some good candidates like Seattle over Idaho, Wagner over St. Bonnys, Houston Baptist over UNC Greensboro, etc. Some of these were even outright winners.

Which bet looks TGTBT to you?

This didn't look good early and kind of scared me off taking Yale who is leading Baylor by 5 at the half.

Maybe Iona can make it close late in the game.

Take some first half bets. Lot of good ones today. Banged on Virginia 1st half and got Kansas coming up. Looking at Kentucky and North Carolina yet.

USC ML +120 over Providence
Providence won 4 in a row before getting beat by Villanova.
USC is 3-7 in their last 10.

According to recent results Providence should easily cover the spread. It looks too good to be true so I take the other side.

I'm trying to identify trap games.

Last second shot by Providence has them winning by 1. I can't even take the +2 to cover because I took the ML. This along with Arizona 2nd half comes down to the last fukking shots. I can't tell you how many last second shots have ruined my bets. Why can't I get just one to cover for me?

The thing is that when Wichita got the rebound they were up by 8 with 11 seconds to go. Arizona had outscored Wichita by 4 in the half at this point and should have just let Wichita run the clock out. The bet would have won. The Arizona player didn't have to shoot a 3 either. He had enough time to drive to the basket like we've all seen so many times and hit a layup for 2 to cover.

Everything that could go wrong at that point could have including a Wichita player fouling an Arizona player and having the ball go off the Arizona player's knee giving the ball to Wichita who of course gets deliberately fouled and makes their free throws to cover.
