It’s such a poor matchup for the longhorns, and that clearly showed going 0-2 this season. Texas needs the 3 ball, and TCu plays excellent permiter defense. Texas went 9-26 & 4 -19 in the previous 2. If this was on one their home courts id be all over the under.

MSG a shooters gym, and they landed 125 and 126, now total opens 140?

Now no jaxson Hayes for longhorns who had 10/6/5 & 19/6 in the first 2.

However they do have kerwin roach back. Who didn’t play in the 2nd game.

Taking the over 150.5 here for 2x

So shockers have cashed for us the 6, but they have been in some real grinders and all on the road in the last 3. However don’t mistake this team for being a slow a paced squad. Look they had to grind in the conf tourney and in this one , but now the kids go to MSG and lip is gonna create a pace that the kids will get wanna run.

It’s just one of those situations of perception that is off. I think we can easily cross this #.

One game I’m looking at is Houston @ Texas in MLB.

This is an important start for brad peacock, after earning this 5th starter spot in the rotation. I believe he is really gonna step up and perform for this Astro team who comes in ice cold @ the plate.

Now you look @ the line and see them -160 + on the road and that’s a quick pass. However the total @ 9.5 is intriguing.

Those cold bats of the Stros are facing a pitcher in Smyly this lineup has only seen a combined 42 times while the rangers have less than 100 combined ab’s vs Peacock.

This tells me , that the struggling bats could take a few times through the rotation to get going.

Astros bullpen is Rock solid but the book is still out on the Texas Pen.

If it plays out like that , I’m pretty confident we don’t see double digit runs here.

Now the Texas pen has been used a few more innings than Houston who comes in very rested.

As I’m writing this, a play on the Rangers TT u, makes a lot of sense as well.

I’m probably not gonna fire as I’m only playing 2x & 3x throughout spring / summer , or this would be worth 0.6x to 1x imo.

What I am seeing


Brewers @ Reds,


I see a few long balls going out of The Great American Ball Park tonight. Why? Well first off, Chacin is prone the long ball and the Reds lineup has plenty of options to take him up on just that. Votto and Kemp have 5 combined vs Jhouyls, who gave up 2 in the season debut.


Pitchers are used to routine and that had to be factored in a negative way with the reds starter DeScalfani , getting pushed from the rain out. Aguilar & Yelich Own bombs off him already and look for Christian to go yard again tonight. Anthony D is always hurt and nothing to write home about even when healthy. I think they plays a factor into the routine making his debut.


The brewers pen is straight taxed , having tossed 18 innings in the last 4 days.


Weather shouldn’t play a factor , seeing a slight 7mph gust blowing out to left.


I’m just not sure if people will be on base when these homeruns are hit.

Phillies @ Nats,


A low scoring game seems in order here. Max owns this lineup and Washington has yet to see Zac. Both pens are extremely fresh and ready to go (if needed). I anticipate a quick 2.5 ball game here. The wind will be blowing in slightly , but there is a chance of light rain which is never good for pitchers movement along with any chance of delay. It will prob end up being a non factor , but I looked over @ the number and its only 7. So Max deflated the air outta this lean, would need more.

Predicting another low scoring game here, Snell should bounce back and Freeland has a ton of talent and looking to build of last season, vs a lineup that has not seen him. Becareful w/ the Rays late in this one as their pen has been working, throwing 18 innings in the last 4 days.


The tatal is set right on, but that would shift my lean towards FF and keep it there.

This just feels like a perfect spot for the Stros to get their bats going. We faded them yesterday in a near perfect under, and now they journeyman Shelby Miller to tee off on. Also you got JV backing you up, while having a rested pen. The Rangers pen (which will be needed here, imo) has already tossed 14+ in the last 4 days, compared to the fresh stros' pen who is under DD innings during that time frame. Verlander should be going deep anyway.


The Wind is gonna be a slight factor, got 12mph blowing in from right, but not in our poisiton. I just won't late 2/1 on the road, but they beauty of spots like this is being on the road you can lay the RL. Its still gonna cost you ~30 cents, but I feel like it's a strong enough ticket to get you the window.


One final note Josh Reddick is 5 of 6 off Miller in that small sample size. Even though most of the other hitters haven't seen him, even thing points to 5+ runs for Houston which should be more than enough to cover the Run-in here. TT O also in play.

JOse Beerios ! year I know I spell it wrong on purpose. Got us the 3x money in the opener. My dark horse Cy young choice, And this is just a stellar ball game to watch, definitely save a tv for this one if you like pitching.


All that being said he's a little high priced here for being on the road, and I'll just be spectating the brilliance.

The kid Lauer is something special and Greinke should bounce back, but again total set low for that reason @ 7.5


One critical note, we have 2 of the most used bullpens in MLB if not the most in this one. If your gonna bite the thoughts of the bounce back from Zach and the kid to shine again, I'd stick to the FF here.

my friend who also gambles took the longhorns...he's a firm believer in the "it's hard to beat a team 3 times" theory...I'm not sure what kind of empirical data, winning pct., and evidence there is to support that kind of situation but he ALWAYS jumps on games like that regardless of the sport...I laid off and simply wished him good luck...
