Gulfstream Park, Rainbow Six Carryover Analysis:
Race 9. 80k Maiden going A mile and 1/16th on the grass. As you would expect in a race like this one, I see question marks all over the board.
We have huge purchases in here w/ the #1 GO for a Ride (525k) #2 Overbold (500k), #3 Machiavelli (270k) & the $10 (200k). All but Overbold will be making their debut, along w/ a few others.
The #8 Social Paranoia is clearly the class of the field, after hitting the trifecta board in the last G3. However this horse has not raced since 29 sept. Think this horse will be overbet for a maiden , and although its a tough toss to open this pick 6, Im strongly considering it even with Saez for Pletcher.
#9 Bad Boy is another short price, that I just can't get behind. Ortiz couldn't get this one home @ some short prices already and they are moving up in class now. Jose in Dubai , so they go with one the hottest jockeys in the world w/ Manny Franco. so that is encouraging, but Im just not sold.
I think the play here is to take some shots here and try to start off w/ a price.
I like the #12 Scattered Strikes (12/1) Breeding for this one, Iran for Graham Motion and this one is a bit of hunch play.
I have to use the Chad Brown First w/ Javy in the reins. #10 Machine Learning (5/1)
^ I don't like the outside draws for these firsters, but I like i said Im just not sold on the betting choices.
The #2 Overbold is must include for me. 52 days off the bench, but who's better than Mr. Mott doing just that. Has 2 races over the surface and the last going this distance Ran 3rd by 6+ but to next out winner. This one could run big today @ price (15/1)
And I simply don't wanna see the other firster we mentioned #1 Go for a Ride cross the wire, and not have 'em on the ticket while taking this approach in the first leg.

Race 10. 100k mile on the turf. You gonna be kicking yourself if you don't use the #2 Fire Key. This 6 year old is dropping after only beaten by 2 lengths in the Grade 3 Honey Fox, Manny returns and has been working well. 10/1 is a nice price play, who could be picking up the pieces late.
The #4 Ouebec, enters under the original trainer Dibona and this cali shipper gets Irad in the pilot seat. That's a positive sign for this one. I like to see that , Bob D had this one here in December 2017 in a OC25 and saez got the win, and quickly the new barn put the tag on. went to cali and raced 9 times , gathering only 1 win. But the speed rates well here, and I like the fact they are stretching out today. A nifty 7: 3-3-0 mark in florida so clearly horse for course. 3/1 and a lot to like here.
The #5 Valedictorian (5/2), I mean how do you not use. 9 outta last 10 in the tri. Dropping in class, with top form. Im thinking this horse's nose for the wire could play a key part here, Must include.
The #6 Too Charming is going for 3 in a row but albertrani not the best off the bench, javy does get the nod, and 8/1 isn't a bad price. But gotta take a stand somewhere. But they will be looking to steal this one wire to wire, but it creates the pace we are looking for our horses to get up late.
Same kinda deal w/ the #8 Andiana Del Sur
#9 Proctor's Ledge, Johnny V for MR Walsh (who just has a nice winner over in Dubai) is very live. Once again hasn't strapped in on over 5 months but the placement and work pattern tells me we are ready. And Remember the class of this horse , A ton of graded events, all over the east coast. This 5 year old can stalk for days, and should get a decent trip to do just that.

Race 11, 25k Optional C going 7 furlongs. #3 Gleason is hard to get a feel, it seems this one has battled injuries or just has been a difficult train for Mr Pletcher. 2nd off the bench here Coming off a clear running line indicating they needed that one. Still put a 90 up in the box and is well placed here. DOn't expect 5/1 to be on the tote board when the bell rings here.
Brian lynch bring #4 Rock Doc off the pine for first time in 9 months. Love the back numbers and clearly like the fact Javy was interested to take the reins. But I have mixed feelings
Same w/ the #5 Restoring Hope, horse hasn't ran since the Belmont And Mr Servis is just a ridic 45% after 74 starters. I mean Irad prob has some to take the drop, but man Can we take a stand one time!

This is really tough but Im simply going to toss the speed, and that's some really live horses but.
Even Jerkens has an interesting one on the outside in #11 Candygram.
The Class of the #8 Fast Pass is nothing compared, but dam if the running style fits perfectly for Peter Walker. And the Kid tyler is excellent off the pace.
I'll take a stand here w/ #3 Gleason on a single here, It should be a perfect trip to stalk the speed, 2nd off the layoff. I think the 8 will be flying late but our class will prevail.

Race 12, I want to use the #7 Bondurant (15/1)I mean the horse is only 3 fer 25. But its very good spot 2nd off the bench. Will be coming late
The #1 Pagliacci(5/1) I think has a great chance to wire this field for Bill Mott.

#3 Village King: Johnny V for Pletcher (8/1)
The #8 soglio is solid, but Losing Jose for the understudy is a big loss here and I can't get behind @ 3/1 for just that reason.
Plus I the outside horse (Maker's other entry) #9 Bigger Picture. is my top choice and I'll take another stand here!
Toss Brown and Pletcher?? Step aside this is Mr Maker's race and at a price also. So thanks for the setting the value guys!
The #4 Canessar is intriguing and could be getting overlooked here. Hope Im not kicking myself for not spending the extra money.

I mean look im not pooling this together w/ guys and doing a monster ticket. Im a lone capper, But gotta have a small ticket just because of the huge pool. I mean we could get 20 million.
In the Florida derby , My top pick is #2 Current. Manny Franco for Todd Pletcher. Look draw a line through his only race off the turf in the slop. I love the turf dirt angle after being forwardedly placed. This 725k purchase is also working great. I think this is the race where we see the breakout.
