In state rivalry... They defend the 3 very well allowing just 29.3% from there. Also have a high steal % at 11.1%. I'll attribute that to their tough guards parker, watson, Webster. They limit 2nd chance points with good gang rebounding. Shavon shields is truly a star and has everything a team needs in a star player. Creighton is allowing 38.4% 3p shooting and Nebraska shoots it at a decent clip af 37.5% so they should be able to create. Defense travels, and Nebraska should take theirs on the road here in this in state rivalry.
They also get to the line and are 32nd In nation in off rebounding %.

Southern Illinois - the pts.

Edwardsville is 0-4 on the road... Granted they've played some decent opponents. But they lost to a ehhhhh team in IPFW on road by 20. Their defense is atrocious. Bottom of country in efficiency, FG%, TO%, 3p%, steal %...
Southern shoots the ball well at 35% from 3 and a great 56% from 2p. They're smaller team, BUT only 4.0 block rate which is good enough for 4th in country. they'll be out sized again but they will speed up edwardsville and make them uncomfortable. They're a junior and senior led team who is off to a great start this year and they're gonna keep things rolling I believe.
Their defense does everything pretty well and really turns people over at 22.8% TO rate.

San Diego offense is the most abysmal thing I've seen. Lol.
YES they beat sdsu... But that was an anomaly. They're bottom of the country in virtually every category on offense and their defense isn't any better.
Denver shoots the ball very well and has a nice offense. They have a 56.9% eff fg%. 36.6% 3pers, 58.6% 2pers (9th in country).
They also defend well allowing just 46.9% eff fg%. They force TOs at a 23.7% rate good enough for 16th in country while SD turns it over at a 21.1% rate on offense.

Thoughts on the 119 total for Denver/San Diego? That's very low, but I'm thinking it's because of how horrendous SD's offense is, as you said.

Teams play very slow.
Both average 20 seconds per offensive possession and 17 seconds per defensive.

That total seems about spot on... I could see around 60-58 Denver.
