Hardly any difference between these two teams in every power ranking I use. Rhode Island has had a lot of close, unfortunate bounces go against them this season, both SU and ATS. They're Top-100 nationally in both adjusted O and D. I'll gladly take the 5 in a sleepy Friday afternoon game.

I'm curious about how the afternoon game could play a role here. I'm not familiar with the campus but I'm thinking it could be a rowdy atmosphere with the students taking a Friday to drink and the impending monster snowstorm.

I'm being dead serious here. Students love this kind of shit. I think it's possible it could be a crazier than usual atmosphere. I lean Rhode Island but I think there's something to that angle.

Coin do you follow betting trends? Rhode Island is 2-7 ATS in their last nine games, 0-5 ATS in their last five road games and 1-8 straight up in their last nine road games. Not to mention G.W. is a perfect 5-0 in their last five at home and 13-3-1 ATS in the previous 17 meetings.

Nope, but now that you mention all of this, I like URI even more. Hate surface trends like this, especially when they have nothing to do with these two teams actually facing each other.

True. It's been pretty brutal, though they've been relatively competitive. Just had a hard time finishing games.
