CBB - Friday - 11/13

Illinois State +9.5
USC -11

I like USC and Iowa State to roll here. Iowa State I think will be on a mission this year, the only wild-card early on is having a new coach/new system, but they are fairly similar in style of play so it should be okay. Prohm really ran the Racers at Murray State and it should be similar to what Hoiberg emphasized on offense. Xavier Johnson out for the Buffs until December and he is really one of their two dynamic players. If ISU takes away Scott, they'll cover.

Illinois State plays in tough MVC arenas all the time - so I don't think they'll be phased. SDSU has some distractions as well. Hawkins, Paris Lee, Akoon-Purcell will not be afraid, even though they lost two key Sr's from last year. I think this will be closer than some think. Aztecs will probably win, but inside the number. Dan Muller has improved the team year over year.

Just hit 10 at Heritage. Too low here....Temple is short of solid, experienced players. Paige being out doesn't make too much of a difference.

It is - but not worried. Temple won't be able to keep up on offense. They're well coached, but UNC can shut them down by stopping DeCosey.

need to see cmu hitting spreads like this before backing them i agree. but not sure what offense jack st will have outside that transfer from nd/mizzou. and cmu's offense will be stout with starting five returning. gl either way.

Sorry guys - was making an addition via an edit to my previous post. Accidentally typed Fairfield instead of Yale lol. I think Yale is a good pick here and have some guys back from a solid Ivy Team last year.
