Jayhawks are too big for Shockers.
Van Fleet 5'11" and Baker's 6'3" hero ball antics aren't going to fly
against this Jayhawk roster. Kansas is stacked to the hilt with bigs.
Bigs who are also athletic and play smart. Dribble penetration is
going to be a lot easier for Kansas than for the Shockers today.
Did you know KenPom has Kansas as the #1 team in the nation
for Strength of Schedule ? #1 vs. #101. They had the toughest T
schedule of all teams with both the #1 Opposing Offense rating
and the #1 Opposing Defense rating. Wichita is 100 slots weaker schedule.
Wichita has gotten here based on its success vs. smaller schools.
Their average opposing offense rank is 146 and defense is 85.

In state resident and have been my whole life...Live in Lawrence and went to KU for 4 years... its not that Bill does not want to play WSU, but he has nothing to gain from it.. We are putting teams like Kentucky, Utah, Georgetown, and Michigan State in our non conference play to cover all coasts of the US and gain exposure from the country's hottest recruits.. We must travel out of state to achieve this..WSU fans are very cocky in state right now about what is going to be the outcome of the game.. But in all honesty, all of the talk this week about Kansas being "scared" to schedule them has provided the Jayhawks added incentive to smash the shockers.. I love both teams as I am a Kansan, but the talk has to end today ( and will).. Expect a very entertaining game but Kansas is just far too deep, long, talented, and motivated to lose this one.. It will end up being KU by about 8-12 pts.

maybe ku pulls it out, they do present some problems for shockers down low. although i think shockers are mentally tougher and their guards are better than ku's. i like shockers but i think that gm could go either way.. far as ville id love to hear why you like them other than disrespecting uni for playing in a somewhat weak conf? uni far and away the better team and should have been a 3 seed not a 5 as they been a top 10 team all season imo..

wouldnt even be a collapse. shockers a legit top 15 squad that was severely disrespected by the committee..

Wichita will keep Kansas off the glass and Kansas won't be able to turn them over. On the other hand, Wichita will force the always sloppy Kansas team into dumb turnovers. Wichita will protect the paint. Game comes down to if Kansas can make the 3 point shot

I thought the line would have been -4.5 to -5.5 in favor of Kansas. The line is showing as a pick 'em. The line might close with Kansas being small dog.

utes/zags would make for a very good elite 8 match up and i certainly wouldnt sit here and tell ya you wrong for taking utes even tho i have the zags..for me i think that wiltjer would make the difference in that gm as he a incredibly tough match up for utes (well for most teams)..

Kansas is way undervalued this whole tournament, and I like the UNI play, UNI can match up against Louisville inside, and they execute better offense. Kansas is going to be too fast, too big and too skilled for Wichita city
