Oregon takes down Oklahoma State today

Oregon: a team that has gone on an 11-2 tear SU in their last 13 games. OSU: a team that has not won a game outside of their own gym since Feb 9. In that time span, Oregon has won 6 road games, including 2 in the PAC-12 tourney...one of which was against a very good Utah team.

Both these teams went to the NCAA tournament last year. OSU was 8-10 in the Big 12 and lost in the first round to Gonzaga 77-85. Oregon was 10-8 in the PAC 12 and destroyed their first-round opponent (#10 seed BYU) 87-68. This year, OSU is again 8-10 in the Big 12. But Oregon improved to 13-5 in the PAC-12. What am I seeing here? I am seeing a more experienced tournament team (counting conference tournament success too) in Oregon that is better in prime time than OSU.

Look for Oregon's Joseph Young to explode tonight, like he did in last year's tourney (27 points vs Wisconsin) and has done all year (20 ppg) and for Oregon to pull this out.

Thought same thing originally but took a pause. Line seemed a bit short opening considering how these teams finished. Now it's at a pick with public and every tout pushing Ducks. Hmmm

I don't get why everyone loves Oregon. They suck. This isn't college football.

Yeah but Ducks were playing solid down stretch. Cowgirls were absolutely awful late in year and average at best themselves all season.

Iowa St and Baylor were supposed to easily sail into the next round but both lost to bad teams. Conference is hyped as the toughest conference but appears overrated.

No doubt B12 overrated I don't know why the 3 you mentioned got so much love yesterday. I even saw some guys saying Baylor/Iowa st should go deep that was funny!

The big 12 was never a great Confernce IMO. It was just a very solid confernce top to bottom. There were no elite teams.

KU was in rebuilding mode and still won the league. This was one of Self's worst teams. That all you need to know.

I expected Texas to lose. They stunk all year. I'm not sure why people kept believing in them.

Baylor had no business losing by 1 point and ISU just got upset. It happens.

Had Baylor not blown a 10 point lead late and allowed a miracle shot, it wouldn't look nearly as bad for the Big 12.

When I handicap a game, whatever the number is at that moment is what I bet against. I don't chase numbers or try to guess what everyone else will do. I worry about what I will do. What happens after that is of no importance until the game ends.
