Some thoughts on a new way to look at betting Basketball.
I have been trying to figure out betting basketball for several years now. I hate losing. I have tried everything from doing research on cappers and buying what I thought was the best picks money could buy, to following guys on here. Everybody gets on runs good and bad. I have been trying a system lately that has been working pretty well for me and I wanted to share it with you guys so that maybe you can use it too. What I have been doing is not betting games on the front end. Not worrying about who is in or out, hurt or suspended, home or away. The method I have been using is to watch the scores via ESPN, Sportstacular on my phone or whatever I can use at the time and try to catch games where the favorite is losing going into halftime. The more the better. Now using this method you are not going to be betting a ton of games a day. This only is going to happen a couple of times a night at the most so you have to be really patient. If it's not the right spot then let it go. The best spot is when the favorite going into halftime is losing and their second half line doesn't even have them winning the game. This is a ground and pound situation. Very rarely does the favorite lose the game. They usually come back and win but will not cover the original line. I went 11-4 last week and started out 2-0 last night with Louisville and Manhattan using this method. Louisville was -5.5 pregame, they were losing by 7 at halftime and their halftime line was -5. They won the game by 1. Manhattan was -4 pregame. They were losing by 4 and their halftime line was -3.5 and they blew it out in the second half. Like I said this takes patience, but would you rather go 1-0 or 2-0 each night or go 3-2 and lose a bunch of juice or worst yet go 2-3 spraying the board. The only thing with this method is you have no idea qho you are going to be betting on each day, you just have to sit back and hope the favorites are slow starters. I also like to look at the first half stats. i.e. shooting percentages. If the favorites are building houses out of bricks then most likely they will pick it up in the second half. Hope this helps and good luck to us.

ive done this religiously over past 2 years.

Have to know when a team is down and out though.

alot of good second half teams out there too.
And alot that suck in second half.
pay attention closely and youll notice them.

I did UNC. Didn't feel good about ND. I just lost a bunch on Wiscy. They should have covered the -6 2nd half easy.

This is when this system does not work....

Who would expect 2 top 20s to lose At home.

That only will work if you think that the favorite will win and cover, betting blind using this method won't do you any good in the long run, cheers.

None of this stuff works betting blindly, just too easy.

I do agree its a great spot to look for value, even more so if you are watching the games and can see if its one team just hitting everything and another missing shots they normally make.

You say you didn't feel good about notre dame and yet these are suppose to be system plays. I'm afraid you just can't do that. It's a system or its not.
