I started with $20 last week and am now up to $380 with doing 4 pt teasers every few days on college basketball. It's been a little slow going this way. I've wracked my brains handicapping the teasers and am looking for a good solid play for tomorrow, just 1 game or a 2 game parlay. Right now, I'm considering Nebraska +1.5 at home vs Iowa and Temple +1 at Tulsa. Any thoughts? Don't have time for so much handicapping tomorrow.

My advice is you should probably stop doing so many teasers. If you do, pick only spreads of +1 through +7. This adds value to get the dogs over the FT hump at the end of losing games.Originally posted by sandyw123

yeah nebraska sucks and tulsa is pretty decent. FWIW I've been doing 10 pt teasers and teasing like 8-16point favorites down in spots where i don't think they have much chance of losing never did any teasers before this week but i am like 4-1Comment -
Thanks for the advice. I'll steer clear of Nebraska, and Tulsa's tough at home. Wichita State's a 15.5 favorite over Evansville. Is that too much of a spread? I expect WSU to win, but that's a lot of points.Comment -

Good job. I raise a question. I recently played a ridiculous amount of teasers/parlays and went from 100 to 2100 in a week. I am going to cash out this weekend. and start over with the 100 bucks and try to repeat. Doesn't have to take a week but i figure if i get to 2000 again in a month that's a decent return on investment. Period.
What is a good amount to shoot for.... now that I have house money. 500/week 1000/wk ?? Been on the forum for years. And i scour these posts and bite my tongue. So just looking for feedback as well as piggybacking on the success of sandy...Comment -

and stop it now. 4, 5 pt teasers are a terrible strategy. if you don't believe me
then keep doing it and your winning will be gone soon. talking about a margin of
only 1-2 possessions or extra free throws and needing 2+ to happen.. probably

The problem with teasers in general is if you go 1-1 with straight wagers you are even.
With a teaser if you go 1-1 you are 0-1.
Teasers just don't add enough value, and you lose juice. To many bad factors.

I don't like maryland anymore they are too small, and not that good. Wisconsin is an awesome team. They probably gonna be dunking all over the place and hitting threes,if anything I like Wisconsin -6now or pass.
