UC Davis/ UC Santa Barbara game

UC Davis is at home at -1. Santa Barbara's best player, Alan Williams
is injured and will not play tonight. I liked UC Davis at home anyway
on the ML, but with Williams out, I really like them. Williams was
averaging 17 points and 11.6 rebounds a game.

Yeah, he has been out for a week. These lines were made with the knowledge of him already being out. Against Fullerton (granted Fullerton isn't good at all) they played really well without him.

Take UC Davis. These guys are good and have the most over looked player in the nation. Hershey Hawkins kid is on that team and he is a beast. He's gonna show up big tonight. GL

also davis was swept last year by ucsb, and those same guys are back. motivation, white board material there.

looking at it a bit more. uc davis undefeated at home, santa barbara nothing to write home about on the road.

uc davis with 5 players in top 20 of offensive rating% per kenpom, 1 in top 5, 3 in top 10.
uc santa barbara with only 2 in top 20, 1 in top 5, the other at 11.

UC Davis is 1-6 SU in the last 7 home games with UC Santa Barbara. In the 29 games in the
series history, UCSB is 24-5 SU, including 11 of the last 12. Does give one hesitation, but I
am still going with UC Davis. UC Davis is a good shooting team and UCSB does have the injury
problem and has not played well on the road this season. UCSB will get back a starting guard
and a reserve guard from injury tonight.

big west 30th ranked out of 33 conferences in close games 4pts or less. small sample size however @ 24 games. 31st in blowouts too, 1 game out of the 24 was by more than 19pts. interesting stuff, but what does it all mean basil?
