For my life i don't understand why coaches dont foul down 3. The average 3pt shooter in college shoots at about 30%-35%. Ok...so lets just say about a 33% chance to hit the 3. Now what are the chances of:

-making the first ft
-missing the 2nd ft
-getting the offensive rebound
-hitting a shot off

LOL most guys can't even miss a FT on purpose, most times they clang it off the backboard for a violation. I mean getting an offensive rebound off of a FT has to be less than 33% alone.

Agreed and then when they do foul it is when the opposing team is launching a 3 shot.
