We cashed a nice ticket with the Wolf Pack a few games back and we’ll look to do the same again as they welcome in Louisiana Tech to PNC Arena. North Carolina State is a very good scoring team with the ability to play defense as well. They have good length, but where I’m really impressed with them is in the rebounding department. NCST pulls down 40.6 rebounds per game and also block north of 6 shots per contest. When they’re not blocking shots they’re altering them, which comes into play big when facing a team like Louisiana Tech that is also focused on scoring. The Wolf Pack play physical, get in your face basketball, and the level of play will only be elevated in front of the home crowd.
The Bulldogs are in a bit of a funk but have still shown the ability to put the ball in the basket. They’re not necessarily a run and gun team, however, not much attention is paid to the defensive end of the court. That is the key that will be the difference in this game. Both teams can score. NCST is the team that will battle on the defensive glass. The home court advantage is worth a few points as well which is why the Wolf Pack will get the cover tonight. Take North Carolina St.
