Ok the line changed to +18.5 for the Illinois-chicago game. I know its obviously good that I got them with more points but the question I have is this. To the more experienced gambler what does this line change tell you? Is it a good or bad sign?

I am not sure at all about this but my guess would be a good sign because now they are less of a favorite in the eyes of the book.

I would like to know this answer and the reason why if an experienced gambler knows

To answer your question... it looks like some reverse line movement (RLM). More money was coming in on SMU but the line moved in favor of UIC. This can indicate a large wager on UIC that people like to refer to as "smart money". It usually is a nice indication for you as you got a great number and are on the side of the "smart money."

Yes I would really like to know..not just about this game bit about lone changes like this on a general basis. Im interested on dissecting the mind of a seasoned vet.

Lines can alao move because more money is coming in on one side. Say 60%+ on a line that is -3... line then goes to 3.5 or 4.
