That's my point. KenPom never "says much differently." That's because Vegas blindly copies his projections. Oddsmakers put no time or effort into college basketball lines. They just copy his homework.

In other sports, you tend to be able to read what the books are thinking on certain lines. In college basketball you can't because it's all just parroted KenPom numbers.

Kenpoms numbers eliminate outliers like when ohio st puts up 100 against a no name school he doesnt use that data he counts it as preseason data and thats why his numbers are a little different then the books, especially the first two weeks of the season but with every game the stats are all converging to the same point thats why lines are getting sharper and pretty much on point IMO but numbers r numbers there is no replacement to anticipating the pace of the game and match ups and in turn beating the numbers, point and case louisville/indiana over yesterday, everyone knew louisville will obliterate them down low and indiana is gona chuck up a ton of 3s leading to a GREAT over opportunity, even though numbers say louisville holds teams to 55 points thats not gona happen against a team starting 3 gaurds vs the best press defense, but also i havent seen louisville shoot that well yet this season...

But 65.5 for the first half was way too low, but i think line was also low cuz louisville scores 20-25% on turnovers and they were expecting turnovers to be lower cuz louisville wont be pressing them... I dono thats how i interpreted it...

I like both GTown and BYU. Kansas is completely overrated, as they were last year too. Difference between KU and GTown not that different. BYU a tough place to win at on the road. Utah is a solid team, nothing special. Seeing that BYU always buries me in the worst way, they'll probably find a way to lose.

He's massive, definitely could shed some lbs. If he ever got into shape he could probably make a good NBA prospect. I remember when he first went to UCLA he was considered a one and done lottery pick.
