id like to trust them, but man there really no reason to believe they dont get punked on the boards yet again. smu got 45% of their misses the 1st meeting and not much has changed, the other day vs ucon who not nearly the offensive rebounders smu is mem let them pull down 47% of their damn misses!

so hard to tell what smu even is, they have beaten nobody outside this shithole conf, at same time kennedy didnt play the out of conf schedule. obviously cincy owns them so id be all over sdst vs them probably, lol. id like to be able to play against them but no way against a team that cant figure out how to secure their own fukkin defensive glass!!

I agree. Memphis is awful. I also believe they would have opened as a small fave if they were the play. And to that point, what I was going to be eluding to a few posts above, Drexel loses their best player and they still open as a fave which I find to be more telling than the steam on UD. Beat Cincy, Uconn at home already and I think they try to make a push for a bubble seed if they can beat SMU and Tulsa on this homestand. The transfer from Vandy is playing better. SMU always a good fade on the road, and to be honest SMU is a bit overrated.

i think smu prob is little overrated although hard to say since they dont or havnt played anyone.. it just that rebounding discrepancy i cant get over, they beat ucon cause they shot it above 40% from 3 and made 50% of their 2s. there no way you can expect that against smu and you almost have to have another very good shooting performance cause if ucon grabs 47% of their misses you better believe smu not gonna have any problem wasting mem on the glass yet again..

Yeah AAC is pretty weak this year, def one of the bottom power conferences. I read somewhere that SMU is #1 in the AAC in rebounding differential.....Memphis is #2. Shouldn't be that far off. Nichols and Goodwin aren't scrubs. I personally think it's Memphis or pass, squares are all over SMU.

krit i almost feel like if mem is the play it goes over. i just dont think there any way around the fact smu is gonna get plenty of 2nd chance points. mem is gonna have to continue shooting well to stay in this gm. think that the route i may go cause mem doesnt have to win/cover to get over, as long as i competitive i think it gets there, if mem does win id be very surprised if it didnt go over cause i believe smu is gonna get into the mid to upper 60s.

that is because mem can offensive rebound and it not exactly hard to do that vs plenty of teams in this conf. there a huge difference and it smu cleans up the defensive glass while mem doesnt.. im not playing smu but the fact it incredibly likely they own a huge point differential on second chance points makes it impossible for me to play mem.. i am warming up to the over as i mentioned in last post tho. if mem stays in it they gonna have to continue the better shooting they have had of late..
