Whats good with Vermont vs Oregon st.

well.... maybe.... on another forum there is a thread going saying the exact opposite, that OSU is the puzzling easy pick here... the thread centers on the reasoning of the extreme travel distance for Vermont, the extreme late start of the game for east coast BBall team, and the extreme difficulty that opponents have playing at OSU (ie. the beavers inherent home court advantage) i think the argument is summarized as.... Vermont is the better team but in a real bad spot which may give this win to the beavers....
so seems to me the game is not a rock solid pick either way

Vermont averages 20 pts more a game then OSU.... Yet they are favored averaging 20 pts less a game. Seems kinda funny if you ask me

Im playing Vermont. OSU seems out classed here. and come tournament time teams are too focused to let home court deter their goals....hopefully.

I watched OSU play U. of Houston.... What a slowed down grind it out game. Dont know how OSU won but it was ugly. If Vermont can hit jumpers, they win this game going away

Oregon State beat some good teams at home: Cal, Stanford, USC. Their slow pace usually aggravates teams that want to play faster and gets that team out of their normal mode of play. If Vermont is disciplined, they can win - if they allow OSU's pace to deter them - Beavers win easy. For me, it's a no play.

VERMONT is the better team, but I believe they will blow this.
