Ok that explains why you back Oregon ST. I was on them all last week, but now they get reality check. They have trouble scoring and UTEP has an elite scorer who is running through this tourney. Under estimated Oregon St. homecourt. Hope they dont gain confidence, cause i got UTEP at a projected -4 spread at home. Will probably take them at any number below that. I had the game capped at UTEP -1 for this 3/30 game and i always take home team when my spread matches books, but my arrogance got in my way. Will not happen again....promise. These other plays are really strong for me. I have my prior winnings played within all these games

They haven't had to travel at all in this CBI tournament and they're rested and pumped up from this fantastic victory. They had their bags packed this morning and are actually going to beat the Miners back to El Paso by almost an hour. Coach Robinson cut his teeth in the Ivy League where it's imperative to give your players a game plan without any major practice in order to conserve energy. On top of that, the UTEP coach already has his mind on the Memphis job. Everything about this matchup says Beavers ML, take it to the bank and thank me later.

Some counter perspective, love it. But im sticking with my play. I think Oregon St. being home was the major factor. I mean for them to come alive in tournament season has been unbelievable. But being hundreds of mile away from home. should bring them down to earth. i had a large play on the beavers tonight, listened to the game on the radio....
my feeling is, UTEP on weds nite is an extremely strong play especially with a number at -4 or below, my thoughts were that it might open higher than that, possible about -5 1/2, but i could be way off base there....
my gut said OSU in tonight's game riding their high and home court edge, but in listening to this game a couple things were very clear....
1) it is very difficult to play on the Beavers homecourt, and they do indeed have a huge home court advatage
2) the far superior team in terms of basketball lost tonight: Oregon state opened both halves shooting the lights out dropping 3 after 3 for minutes on end, which was extremely needed because they built a 21 pt lead and the box score wont tell you this, but they came very very close to losing, i was listening, dumb metal error after error, missed free throw after missed free throw, and being far less the athletic team than UTEP almost completely erased a 21 point lead.... it was obvious they were crumbling, and the game had a true feel to it like the team ahead with 12 points and 5 minutes on the clock was going to lose
3) any time a team has a 12 point lead with 5 minutes on the clock and you and even they themselves seem to believe they are probably going to lose, that means it is clear who the superior team was, and when back at home, in the do or die situation they are in, who do you think wins this next game? honestly....
My gut went large on OSU tonight, my gut even stronger tells me UTEP wins outright on weds... thus if you can get UTEP at a number relatively close to a pick (i.e. -3 or -4) that would be an extremely strong play, i just cant see them losing weds, which is why i think Vegas would be crazy putting this game below -4

Utep was better team. Oregon St. just has a unique homecourt advantage. As seen by their winning four straight at home. Athough Oregon St. won, they didnt dominate any stats column just the scoreboard.Comment -
