Did you see the video on ESPN (selection sunday) of W KY when they found out they were playing ILLNOIS?

They whole gym went nuts... now i know why! They have a shot at this one!

They certainly do but the fact the Illinois cut the deficit to single digits at the half was a big step in their favor. Keep in mind that Villinova also trailed in their game by 14 points at one stage as well before turning the tables in the second half on the way to their victory over American. Should make for an interesting second half of play. Covering the 5-point spread on the other hand may present a different scenario in the end.

Yea, but I also look at the Illinois game in the Big Ten tournament they where down by 4 to Michigan at half. At the 10 minute mark they where up by 20 they are a much better second half team. We will see how it goes though I mean look at the Villanova and Memphis games. No reasons they shouldn't have dominated, but they didn't get it done sometimes you can catch yourself overlooking a team

I bet on every game Western Kentucky plays. They aren't going to get blown out in the 2H.

Favorite teams like Illinois have to learn they can't expect to play one half and win. They didn't show up at all in the first half and full marks have to go to WK. When a team like Illinois fails to cover because they only played twenty minutes, I'm glad to see them lose outright and gone!

The committee made WKU/Illinois a 5-12 matchup for a reason....I think everyone had WKU moving on in their brackets

They showed at the end that they definitely had the ability to play with WKU, and if Frazier had been healthy I still believe they would have won. One of the best defenders in one of the best defensive conferences, also and intense player and a team leader can make a big difference. They probably didnt deserve to be a 5 seed but with a healthy team there's no way the first half goes down like that, in my opinion.
