Tourney games on Schedule Unders are highly possible. Also Discipline!
From my experience, the tourney officials are really wanting to keep on schedule so that seems to me that games are played a little faster than normal, at least in my experience. No data to back it up. I am saying this as an angle to consider when betting totals the next few days. I hope that makes some sense. Keeping schedule intact is somewhat important and if games go to OT, then I believe that is thought out as well.

Guys, I wish you the very best over the next few days, but I also advise keeping your discipline and know that there will be Many more games as we go so be careful and wager wisely. A bettor does not need and try to make plays because it is the NCAA tourney. There are a lot of opportunities ahead of us.

In the past, esp when younger I played the board. My style proved to be a losing one.

Be careful and try to enjoy the games for the games. There is absolutely no way that all of these games will go as they are intended/predicted. More may be less unless the bettor just goes on one of those Big runs. I expect the dogs to do well, overall.

    Take care

Betting my share of unders already...wouldn't be surprised if I end up with 20-30 ncaa wagers today once it is all said and done including half time bets.

      Good luck General

general, thank you for the sound advice. BOL to you today.

strongly agree on unders. schedule as well as lack of familiarity should reduce scoring. today, i'm not sure yet which are plays, but i like the unders with a lot of the big faves:
            Radford/UNC 1H under (76) and game under (162.5)
            UT-Chatt/UConn 1H under (67.5) and game under (145)
            American/Nova 1H under (59.5) and game under (129)
            Akron/Gonzaga 1H under (61.5) and game under (133)
            Binghampton/Duke 1H under (63.5) and game under (136.5) - like this one a lot

Love unders in the 1st round but for a different reason. Mostly the big favs come out slow and carefull and the big dogs like to walk it down and slow the game up so it's not a nationally televised blow out.

This post is a year old, but on my mind headed into tomorrow's action.

Lot's of unknown in these NCAA tourney games. Also, as discussed on ESPN First Take this morning, I think the NBA playoffs are better than March Madness. The main reason is there is less chance for the least talented team winning in a series opposed to one game with the NCAA.

Best of luck to everyone with your favorite teams AND 2010 picks.
