    Thursday sweet sixteen picks
So far 17-12-1 through the tournament. Here are today's picks:

    Dayton +3.5
I think the Flyers win this game outright. Dayton shoots the ball well and has already faced a better played 2-3 zone in this tournament. They give away a lot in height, but managed to hold their own on the glass against a way more athletic Syracuse team. They have multiple threats from outside and Cal has struggled defending the 3 all year. Hard to believe one of these teams will be playing for the right to get to the final 4. I'll take Dayton

    Wisconsin -3.5
I've posted elsewhere about how I feel about the Badgers. I just think they have the kind of team that will give Baylor's zone some problems. I don't think Drew gets enough credit for what he's done at Baylor. They were in shambles when he took over. That being said, Bo Ryan is better. I think given the amount of time he's had to prepare, the Badgers will be ready. Wisconsin's bigs get toasted on here, but they aren't bad. They have size, and that size can shoot. I really like Dekker, and he's pretty athletic (anybody see the baseline drive and dunk early in the Oregon game?). Also the Hayes kid is starting to come on as well. I think the 15 footers will be the undoing of Baylor, both in the lane and short corner. Take the Badgers

Thanks. One thing I forgot to mention, the Baylor /Wisconsin game could come down to free throw shooting. That's another edge in favor of the Badgers. They shoot 75% from the line as opposed to Baylor who shoots 67%. The early games are going to be very entertaining!

I had this matchup in all my brackets, pretty much split the winner of this gm, some I have wiscy moving on others Baylor. I think Baylor the more talented team but this prob the biggest coaching mismatch in the sweet 16..

          Adding one:

Florida/UCLA under 138 I know everyone is all over UCLA in this one, but I think Florida will win. And when they win, they usually win ugly. I expect the Gators pressure to cause turnovers and, more importantly, hurried shots. Florida is the most physical team UCLA has played all year. Look for the Bruins youth show through in this spot.

                Adding one more:
                San Diego State +8
The Aztecs can really defend, and Thames is a great player in the mold of Napier or Kane. Their quickness and length will bother Arizona and be enough to keep them in the game to the end.

3-1 night. Makes my record 20-13-1 for the tournament.
