Game is a toss-up, which the line indicates. Here's my take:
The Spartans are more talented this year than they typically are. However, a lot of the little things that are program staples -- namely rebounding, defense, and getting after loose balls -- tend to go by the wayside. Meanwhile, those are all things UVA does well. So in other words, the Cavaliers, though not as talented, may ultimately out-MSU MSU.Comment -

People really have no respect for virginia.
They are a great team. So many weapons. And they really really focus on defense. Alot of teams say they do, but it doesnt show as much. This team really does.

The what have you done for me lately syndrome. How quick people forget that UVA was lucky to get out of the Coastal Carolina game...down by 10 in that game and 5 at halftime....pushed by a #16 Big South team who wasn't even supposed to win there conference tourney.....SMH...Michigan State wins. Tons of better seeds sleep in the first half of a first round game.
Not saying i disagree but you cannot discount this teams consistency and overall performance this year. ACC reg season champs and tourney champs is not a fluke.
