At 22 feet with their sniping skills and their weak bracket they can definitely run to the Final 4 if they get/stay hot.

Doesnt mean its one of Duke's better teams, they are holding on for dear life here, no inside presence is the reason why, only four 2 pt field goals the whole game, having to make 13 3's so far only to be tied. This is one of Duke's lesser teams.

Dude I appreciate the concern but I'm like $+6K on public plays here over the past month (more in real life - I don't tend to get them in all the time on here) - mostly in the NBA forum. I read the game the way I read it and I believe that Duke wins that game 19 times out of 20 from what I saw closing the 1H. Even though Mercer made a little run there I saw:

A) Duke was getting WIDE OPEN LOOKS from 3 whenever they wanted
B) Mercer's best big man was likely out for the rest of the game
C) Duke had opened up a 8 point lead relatively late in the 1H despite the fact that they had gotten in early foul trouble
D) Duke has by far the most talented player on either roster

My mistake was that in the back of my head there was an E) no way Duke blows another 1R game. No way it happens again.

I am usually very good at sniping opportunities like this. I won about 2K betting on Wisconsin in-game -500 when American was tied with them and then they blew it open. I'm only down about $3K for the tourney now and if Iowa State merely WINS tonight I'm back even.

I didn't realize that Coach K was such a conservative pussy and would sit the best player on the court (by FAR) for over 10 minutes in the 2H because of foul trouble. I have no clue why coaches continue to employ this losing strategy despite statistician after statistician proving that it's retarded.

BTW - I had Mercer +7.5 in the 1H (won $333!!!!) which is why I was watching the last 8 minutes of 1H so closely. What I saw and what I believed would then transpire in the 2H was obviously way off base. Sucks.
