#12 seed had beaten #5 seeds 5 of last 6 and 7 of last 10 matchups
Only one year in the last 14 has a 12 seed failed to beat a 5 seed. As posted in title 7 of last 10 and incredibly 5 of last 6 #12 seeds has won. Think of how significant this is, it means a perceived top 20 team (17-20)every time lost to a team ranked in the late 40's (45-48). Amazing how history keeps repeating and we as bettors fail to catch it. This year I didn't hear as much about 12/5 as you normally do. Which is strange considering that last year 3 of 4 times the #12 seed got the win.
