#42GTown has too much talent to play this slow. That's there problem they play like they are a mid-major team. John Thompson III needs to look in the mirror for his teams failures.Comment -

#43geeze STJON needed that 3 pointer in the 8th mintue to keep GTWN from running an 8point lead to 14-17

#462H should be interesting. STJON couldn't afford to let GTWN run a big lead if they want to stand a chance.
STJON took the lead briefly at 23-22 under 4min

#49Nice. Just skated by for the 1st half over. See you boys for Rutgers-ND tonight. Gonna see if I can figure out a useful play for that one. So far, 2-0 +1.50 units.Comment -

#50If Georgetown isnt up by atleast 7 pts at 9:59 in the second half they are most likely gonna join Cincy at home waiting on a NIT bid. Either way we all see GTown is not hungry or good enough to win 5 games in 5 days.Comment -

#55GTown probably going home and my over 122 is probably phucked unless they go overtime. Teams are averaging less than 3 points per minute.Comment -

#56Quick thoughts on the night session - no reason to touch the Rutgers/Notre Dame match-up for me. The total seems about right on with no edge in either direction. Same with the total as Notre Dame could tighten up (feeling the pressure like G-town) or they could blow Rutgers out of the gym.
S.Florida/Seton Hall ... lean on the over at 131.5 & Hall at -4.5. Hall needs pace to win. USF needs it slow to stay around. Hall won by 15 at home with a big 2nd half. Hall is 8-2 ATS in their last 10 Big East games.Comment -

#57I have a better feel for the Butler and South Alabama games than either Big East games. I would take a look at 2H's though. 2-0 in early session dont want to mess things up because it gets really good 2morrow.Comment -

#60The early game is tricky to me, so I don't see a huge advantage. Under would seem to jump off the page due to their regular season meeting, but something tells me Providence comes to play today and rolls up a big total. I'd lean to the over at 143-144. Don't like the spread for a side although DePaul at +9 might be interesting. Looking at St.John's-Marquette for a possible play later.Comment -

#64#4. Notre Dame +5.5
No secret the Irish might have to run the table to get into the NCAA tournament. They did not play all that well against Rutgers last night, but did enough to win. The good news is the 3 point shooters are hitting well for the Irish, while the Mountaineers have been giving up over 41% shooting from distance in their last 5. Irish have covered 4 of last 6. Probably deserved better in the regular season match-up with W.Virginia, but shot 10-20 from the line and lost by 11 on the road. Harangody should eat 'em up again (26). McAlarney is the key. He must shoot well. Seems pretty even & Notre Dame has more at-stake as West Virginia is considered by most an at-large team already. Taking the points.Comment
