Kp, very bold indeed. I can understand the bottom two. Iowa State? They just won the Big 12 and beat some major teams. Yes, they don't play defense but their offense is way too potent for NC Central.

W Michigan over Syracuse. I'm a big Cuse fan, but this team has completely lost confidence on the offensive end of the floor, and I don't see how they'll get it back before this game. W Michigan CAN score, and that may be all they have to do to advance.

A few teams seeded 12 or higher that I'm considering:
(12) Stephen F Austin over (5) VCU
(12) Harvard over (5) Cincinnati
(12) North Dakota St over (5) Oklahoma
(12) Xavier over (5) St Louis --- NC St as well
(13) New Mexico St over (4) San Diego St
(13) Tulsa over (4) UCLA
(14) Western Michigan over (3) Syracuse

Seems like a lot but every year you generally get a handful of these. Last year there were 5 upsets of teams seeded 12th or higher; headlined by 15-seed FGCU and their Sweet 16 run. And it was the same the year before with two 15-seeds advancing. This year, I personally don't give any 15-seeds much of a shot at pulling off the upset. Maybe it won't be those mentioned above but there will be upsets. I'm more of a fan of longevity. Major upsets are awesome, but they generally last for one round. I'm more into the teams who make deep runs; Butler, Wichita St, VCU, George Mason (although they were a 12-seed I believe) in recent years. We shall see. Can't wait...
