I'll take Tennessee and the points. Tennessee is balling, but so is Florida. The SEC is weak. Should be 1 or 2 possession game. Very physical. I think this Tennessee team is ready to turn the corner.

Let me preface this by saying that the biased East coast media has always given preferential treatment to the Big East, ACC and B10 basketball programs. Since most of their programs are knee deep in snow, they have to fall back on basketball indoors or hockey. Most years the Big East would get 7 even 8 teams in the 64 tourney. That's a huge part of the field. The ACC and B10 routinely send 6 or 7 teams. If you go back into those seasons, you would see that many of those teams had worst RPI's than SEC or Pac12 teams.
The media isn't even trying to be subtle anymore. They are fukking SEC teams by leaving them out of the dance entirely. Here's how many teams the SEC has gotten in the tourney.
2013 - 3 teams
2012 - 4 teams
2011 - 5 teams
2010 - 4 teams
2009 - 3 teams
2008 - 6 teams
2007 - 4 teams
2006 - 6 teams
2005 - 4 teams
2004 - 6 teams
2003 - 6 teams
2002 - 6 teams
2001 - 6 teams
2000 - 5 teams
1999 - 6 teams
1998 - 5 teams
1997 - 4 teams
1996 - 4 teams
1995 - 5 teams
1994 - 4 teams
1993 - 4 teams
1992 - 4 teams
SEC getting only 3 or 4 teams is horseshit. Look at this year. Most people have Arkansas out but many are still considering Florida State and Minnesota (who Arky beat). They have a better record than a bunch of teams that will get in. Look at Florida after the 2 national titles. Left out the tourney with 25 win teams. WTF???
It don't matter because the SEC kicks ass on the big stage. Look at the SEC titles the past 20 years. The SEC with fewer teams in each tournament has more titles than all the rest.
1994 - Arkansas
1996 - Kentucky
1998 - Kentucky
2005 - Florida
2006 - Florida
2011 - Kentucky
SEC - 6 (UK x3, UF x2, Arky x1)
ACC - 5 (Duke x2, UNC x2, MD x1)
Big East - 5 (UCONN x3, SU x1, UL x1)
Big 12 - 1 (KU x1)
Pac 12 - 2 (UCLA x1, UA x1)
Big 10 - 1 (MSU x1)
The media is very good at brainwashing. The B10 is now considered the best conference in basketball. Yet they have all of 1 title. Total Bullshit. They ain't winning it this year either.

Well... go back one more year, and the ACC has just as many.
GTFOH! The SEC is garbage. Arkansas had it right in front of them! All they had to do was beat a shitty Alabama team, and a putrid South Carolina squad and they cake walk in to the dance. Instead, they choke their nuts off.

Tennessee is historically pretty good against Florida.
I like the way Tennessee is playing.
Big edge to Tennessee on defensive end, monster defensive team.
Tennessee + the points or nothing here for me.

I lean TN, but may just pass on this one. Line is pretty much on...should not be a blowout, and I could see UT getting the upset if all works out right.

Tennessee can -- and should -- cover here and keep this game within striking distance. I want to take them, but they seem to have a mental block when it comes to Florida. Got blown out in Gainesville and didn't play particularly well at home against them either.

Don't bet on your team. Whenever I do, I tend to lose money. Leave passion out of handicapping.

I started to write a big, long response to your SEC homerism, but it would be easier to just say that I think the ACC is an even worse conference this year than the SEC and I believe they should get less teams in than the SEC. So that makes your whole "East Coast Bias" nonsense kind of mute.

Florida should win. They have Young who can keep Stokes off the boards, they have a long athletic team team that can defend well and can roll off point when they need them. TN has McCray and while they have been on a roll, they haven't exactly beat barn burner teams during that stretch either. The past 5 wins have been against Miss State, Vandy, Mizzou, USCe, and Auby. While they have blew them out, they lost to a pretty bad TXAM team twice and a halfway struggling Vandy team. IMO they should not be in, because they have beat literally two quality teams in UVA and Xavier and UVA. Other than those two wins and loses to KY and FL they schedule is pretty weak.

So which conference do you think WILL get the most teams in? The ACC will most definitely get more teams in which is horseshit. Why is FSU even getting consideration? Especially over Arkansas? How about Georgia who is the type of team that would scare a lot of teams in the tourney.
It's not SEC homerism, it's the truth. The SEC has more titles than all the other conferences. I don't have time but If you go back through the years and look at RPIs, you would see the disparity of SEC teams being left out over other teams.

This is a great play. UF has been very slow out the blocks in games over the last month and a half. I expect them to come out slow again. UF is a 2nd half team, they grind you down with the press and a deep bench that subs guys out. I love UT 1h and UF 2nd half. I also like the under as these are 2 very good defensive teams. It's going to be hard to get any points in the paint. I think UF is the better shooting team which should give them the cover but should be an awesome game.
