#147well what happened is when I started the year my unit was a very small amount of $$ so rather than increase my unit, I increased my play range. this thread it has been consistent.Originally posted by Tommy KarateGreat week.

strong plays are somewhere between 8-12 unit, medium between 5-7, and the Lowest is 3.
I am new to keeping track so im sure you guys may give me slack for this method, but I wasnt quite sure how I could Continue to know how much I was up or down without keeping my unit consistent.Comment -

#149THamm...maybe too early that you haven't looked into games yet, but I'm seeing 5-6 dogs that could give their opponents a lot of trouble.
Tulsa +9.5
W. Michigan +13
Dayton +6
N. Dakota St. +4
K. State +5
Providence +4
I haven't felt comfy picking spreads with many favorites.
Who among those mentioned do you know much about and do you think any stand out as strong plays?
I have only watched a handful of games...mostly Shockers, Northwestern, Spartans, Bradley and Illini.Comment -

#150North Dakota state is a good team, with a Great player. Definite upset potential.Originally posted by RollinDoTHamm...maybe too early that you haven't looked into games yet, but I'm seeing 5-6 dogs that could give their opponents a lot of trouble.

k state getting blown out is very unlikely. Coach weber knows his shit and will be happy to be back in the tourney, they can cover 5.
I don't like Dayton. Ohio state is one of those teams that comes alive when it's tourney time, every single year.
Western Michigan can hang within 13, If they knock down shots. If not it'll be a long night for them against that cuse run out off their zone rebounds.
Providence.... What more can I say. This has been a team I have been on since the season started. They have SO much talent. I think they beat UNC. They have plenty of scoring to keep up with the tar heels, and they can contain them on Defense. Kadeem batts and ladontae henton can handle mcadoo and company. BRyce cotton vs marcus Paige will be a thing of beauty to watch, cotton is an nba talent. Providence friars are my guys.
tulsa I'm not sure about.Comment -

#151I am gonna start a new thread tomorrow to begin my NIT, (CBI), and NCAA tourney picks.
I wanna throw out a couple early leans.
Tomorrow:
WVU +4. I hope it goes up. YES it is an away game, which sucks. But I believe that the NIT and CBI are where YOUNG teams come to play. West Virginia does not have a senior on the team, not one. They have no players that will leave for the NBA, staten could have a chance but I dont think he will yet. This team I believe, coached by a GREAT coach, will use this tourney to get better and build on to next year.
Georgetown has been a team that I have faded on many occasions this year and I think this is another great opportunity to do so. They will have home court advantage, but I dont know if that will be enough to slow down two awesome guards in Staten and Harris. Georgetown has two great players in their own right in Markel Starks and Smith-Rivera, but I think the young guards from WVU can keep them in the cover here.
Nothing is confirmed yet, but I do lean heavily on WVU plus the points.Comment -

#152Another lean is NC State +3.
I am less sold on this...
I think they have started playing their best ball late in the season, and may have enough to win this game. Xavier has an NBA talent in Semaj, but he seems to have to carry the load in a major way. TJ Warren is the same way for NC State, BUT this guy is an animal. He may have snuck into the top 5-10 picks in the NBA draft. (I hate that i keep bringing up NBA talent cause i dont think that in any way has anything to do with college teams success.) But, man this dude can play. Anthony CAT Barber is a pesky player who does a little bit of everything and can work to give Semaj fits.
NC State came alive late in the season to grab this play in game spot, and I believe they cover AND have a good chance at winning this game. They won 4 of 5 to end the season while Xavier lost 3 of 5.
NC State +3 is my second lean for tomorrow.Comment -

I'm with ya on providence. I was bullish on NC a few weeks ago but this was bad draw vs a very underrated team from the big east.Comment -

#155i will be on xavier small, as they fit a neutral court angle ive been using where i heavily weight teams with better rebounding and FT % numbers...still digging through the rest of the games, as there should be some nice money to be made with all of these home court edges....just need to figure out who wants to be playing, and who doesnt..Originally posted by THam12yessir. what you lookin at today?
smu doesnt, but thats for tomorrow...
