Why is Seton Hall -3.5?

Friars are 8-7 in conference, Seton Hall is only 5-10 in conference, and SH is -3.5? Anyone got a lean on this game. Just thought it was a weird line. Not expecting to see Seton Hall as a fave here. I do see that Seton Hall beat them earlier this year.

Even more interesting, this line opened at -2.5 and has moved to -3.5 since.

I was actually just coming in to start this same thread. Providence is fighting for the tournament lives, and just won a big road game at Butler. On the otherhand, Seton Hall is just playing out the stretch, and looked atrocious the other night at DePaul. Showed no heart, no emotion.....a team just playing things out. I think Providence is more skilled, shoot the ball better and have a better inside game. Was thinking maybe someone on the Friars is hurt?

Only thing I can think of is Providence isnt a GREAT road team (4-5) and the fact that Seton Hall beat them on the road is probably an added reason. I think Providence will still beat them SU though.

I decieded this post because the only NCAA game I'm on will probably be this one. I agree Providence is the play but I am wary for the fact of the unknown like last nights UCLA suspensions. Gonna wait until closer to game time to pull the trigger. Maybe even turn it into a teaser with prov and over? Hope we can get some good infoon this game! Ill be looking for what I can!

This one was honestly too easy boys, way too easy......this was my biggest play in a long time (Providence ML at +135). I still don't understand the line......Edwin was out for Seton Hall, and Providence was at full force......Vegas tried to trick us, but we said fu(k you tonight! I absolutely needed it and it will recover a sh!tty week I had in tennis. I got my tennis money back, and I've learned to stay away....so all in all, a very productive week! Cheers Boys!!

Took the under, was wondering how they scored about 35 in the last 3 1/2 minutes.
When I went to get a drink, spread was 9 points, so shouldn`t have been a 3 minute foul fest.
They were playing to 124 on a 137, so it was going to be close, but 143??
Could anyone who watched the game enlighten me?

The fouls started at about 1:40 I believe.........Seton Hall continually scored quick buckets, and fouled before trying to trap or anything. Last minute of gametime took about 15 minutes! What was the total? I hope the last second 3 by Sina didn't kill the under? Dribbled down the lane, then faded out to 3 point land, and jacked at the buzzer.

Thx, had 137.So the garbage 3 didn`t matter, but TONS of points in those last 3 minutes.

YA....there was a sh!t ton. Providence seemed content to just let Seton Hall score at the rim, knowing they are the best free throw shooting team in the country, and trading 2 for 2 would never allow the Pirates back into the game! Sorry Man
