    Auburn at Alabama?
Auburn beat Alabama by forteen last time they played but the tide are favored. Any thoughts on this matchup? I think I might take Auburn.

I have watched every Bama game this year and would be a little nervous betting against the Tide right now. Their young talent is really starting to gel as they have won their last three games. Also, Bama is much better at home than away. Finally their most dismal performances came at the end and beginning of their coaching change. Lately, the new interim coach has really seemed to light a fire under these young guys and have them hungry to end strong and build for the coming years.

With that said, I am not touching this game with a 10 ft. pole, much like the real Iron Bowl in football.

Totally agreed. Bama is on a roll and Auburn even though they won the first match it has been many games in between and Bama just not the same team that Auburn played the first time around.

        BOL today.

You can't base your bet on one previous game. What if that was Auburn's worst shooting game of the season? Or they were missing a starter? I'm thinking it was most likely played in Auburn. It's also a rivalry game.

Look into it before just jumping on Auburn my man.

Lebo's defense strategically forces Gee to make midrange shots, and as we all know he can't 75% of the time. Extremely overrated shotmaker. The more shots he takes the better for Auburn. Lebo will switch it up and make sure the right guys take shots and that Green gets trapped on the post like all the other big men they've faced the last half of the season, and without a true proven point guard from Bama, expect a lot of turnovers from one of the tops in the country in forcing them, and lately not turning the ball over at all themselves. Those many games in between? Auburn has won 6 of 7 and only 1 win wasn't double digits. They were many missed opportunities and bad free throws away at the very end from beating LSU in a game that actually meant something. LSU finished 21-22 from the line being the main difference in the loss. They're a great FT% team. Bama can't do that. Those 3 wins from Bama? Came against 2 mediocre to bad defensive teams in Miss St and Arky, and considering their defensive efficiency, Bama is a bad defensive team that plays well in spurts. Lots of open shots. Miss St shot a whopping 34% and sent the game to 2 OTs on their home court.

Can you really see this team shooting lights out like the Ole Miss game? The defensive war will be won with ease by Auburn, and Bama's really only hope is that their constantly contested shots are falling down, or that Auburn can't hit an open shot to save their lives. They've been doing a nice job lately however of having a good balance between inside and outside shots. If Waller makes his shots tonight, consider it over. He requires neverending attention, and who's going to guard him with the big minute energizers coming off Auburn's bench? When Waller's hitting, everyone else does also. This game can easily go either way, but to say Bama is playing anything that close to Auburn lately is ridiculous. Anthony Brock tonight? Reid, Robertson, and Sullivan should have their way with him on both sides, whoever is on him. Defense is by far the key in this game, as the offenses are pretty similar, except Auburn has 2 very good point guards that play good defense. Things could change early if Green or Barber gets in foul trouble. If both do, advantage to Auburn. Remember that Bama's last 3 games had great bench play, but came against teams with very lax bench support/depth. State's bench scored ZERO at home against Auburn Saturday. Auburn is the veteran team that's 17-5 ATS and playing for something special. This game should be a pass, but can someone give a legit reason on why to take Bama against the SEC's best team ATS, and 2nd hottest overall? The crowd shouldn't be much of a factor against a veteran team, but it will be an electric football crowd.

This game is sandwiched on Auburn's schedule between their two top opponents in the SEC West as they try to get the first round bye in the tournament. Add in a hostile court and an improving Tide squad motivated by revenge against an in-state rival and I'll lay the point with the home team in this spot.

Dont forget Auburn is money in the bank spread wise, the top CB team at 77%, going 17-5, and I see it as only giving 1
