Akron had that game, they were up 3 with like 10 seconds to go and they fouled central Michigans player who was about to chuck up a Hail Mary 3. Frustrating loss, but it was definitely the right play! Keep up the great work.

Re: St. Joes/Bonnies…Things have gotten really ugly on Hawk Hill over the last couple of weeks. I don’t have any answers for what is going on. This is one of the most talented groups Martelli has had over the years and it’s been quite the disappointment. Sure they’ve dealt with injuries but some of their worst performances of the year have been with a fully healthy roster. On the other hand, Bonnies is in somewhat of a rebuild this season and on top of that has battled injuries all year. I thought Bonnies’ play would improve a ton since Stockard got back in the lineup but they have really struggled on the offensive end as of late – opponents have held them under 1ppp their last 5 games dating back to early December. With that said, Schmidt has owned Martelli over the years, the Bonnies are back at home after a 4 game roady, and traveling to the Reilly Center is tough for teams in the A10, especially the Joes. I’m interested to see how the hawks play tonight after clearly giving up in the 2^nd half of both of their last two games. I still think they are the much better team, with more offensive weapons. I’ve gone back and forth on taking Joes all day, but I’m not sure I can trust them.

Re: Temple/Houston… Temple clearly has a bit of revenge in mind after getting swept by the Cougars in conference play last year including getting blown out @home in the last meeting. Interestingly, in both those meetings last year the Owls held Houston’s Rob Gray under 10pts but most of the offensive production that was effective in last year’s sweep returns this year. Houston clearly off to a great start and will look to prove they are the powerhouse in the AAC tonight. Temple not in the greatest spot after an awesome comeback win on Sunday @Wichita State (trailed by 15 in 2h to comeback & win in OT) but they’re finally back at Liacouras after nearly a month on the road. Houston on the other hand has only played two true road games this season so I’m interested to see how they play on the road in conference play. I lean the Cougars but will most likely just watch this one, should be a goody.

Yeah, getting a good line can make or break you. Ayo came out with Northridge PK at 5:23 PM EST. It was PK or even +1! until 6:41 PM EST when it jumped to -1. I got +1 at 5Dimes. The thing is, sometimes it may move against you and sometimes in your favor. And sometimes it won't matter and sometimes it will kill you. But yeah, it hurts double when you're along for the ride and everyone else wins or pushes and you lose.

Northridge game was bizarre even before tip-off. Couple top rated books hung Northridge -1 @ -120 while the ML was -119. Really was suspect from the very start.
