    Northwestern +5.5 vs. Illinois
Wildcats are 4-11 ATS overall and haven't covered since Dec. 22. But they're facing their in-state rivals at home coming off a blowout loss. I think it's logical to expect Northwestern to finally show up here and at least make this a game.

I gave up trying to predict when Northwestern would cover a medium type spread like this, no passion on that team and Illini coming off a loss, just wouldnt feel confident with the Cats.

One thing the mildcats have going for them is an undisciplined illini squad that could fold like lawn furniture once again. That being said: I bought NW up to +10 and parlayed em with the ORE ML.

NW getting absolutely dominated in B1G play. Why would you think they show up now, on the road?? I'm big on Illini for a double digit win. Prime time game at home... Illini crush.

Im sure NW will lead at halftime and make me pull hair out before ILL pulls out a 8 pt win at the end Something like that!

My bad. Game is in NW. Makes sense why this isn't a 12 pt spread now. I'm not changing my thought on ILL big

this game shocked me. i didn't touch it but i would have never, never ever guessed illinois didn't run away with this one. one of those times where the fishy line scaring me away really paid off.

I'm surprised that Illinois didn't win. Even the books weren't anticipating this. From the line/ML movement, it looked like they were seeing an Illinois victory/Northwestern cover. Pitiful effort by the Illini.

I just exiled Illini from any more betting this season after that debacle. They must have missed 18 layups and another 7 follow up dunk attempts. 28% from the field and 43 total points vs the worst team in the B1G. Wow.

Good Bet.....I popped NW at +5.5 2nd half, with them up 7 at recess. It was just one of those nights where Illinois could not figure out NW's zone. Illinois had a couple little stretches where they scored a few buckets, and that was basically it. Thank you Tre Demps!
