tough to go against drake where they have dominated this team in the past at home. 12-4 in last 16 at home against indiana state. Drake won by 3 last year against them at home. ..

drake opened as -1 faves, you would expect they would be bigger faves and are now dogs.

Havent looked into this game....but I watched the 2nd half of Indiana St/Evansville on the weekend.......and Indiana St looked really, really strong. I would say this is the team that will give Wichita the biggest fits this year, as I see them splitting with the Shockers.

Arkansas is scary at those odds on the road. Historically, a solid team at home, pretty questionable on the road.

You right about that. I am gonna have to re-think my arky bet. They have been a let down often when in this spot on the road

I suggest staying away from this too. If you know the Valley, Drake has made a habit of beating the better teams in the conference at home, and winning big. While I think the odds of Indy St winning are a bit better on paper and just seeing the Sycs play this season, I see Drake wanting to get back to good basketball after a very poor showing vs. Bradley on the road. I have just seen Drake totally shock MVC teams when you think they'll lose. I know Indiana St. is the 2nd best team in the conference, but a much easier pick was at Evansville the other night, where the Aces only have a few legit scorers. Drake can beat you in many ways with depth, and they are right now probably the 3rd or 4th best team in the league...tough to win back-to-back games on the road in this league...unless you're an elite team like Wichita St. or the Jays in the last 15 seasons.

Great pick Lucullus.....I appreciate and respect dotheopposite's opinion of the game, but sometimes talent on the floor trumps a home teams historical home performance. Indiana St is a veteran team, that is strong just about at every position. Glad I nailed it.

Thanks Buddy! Hopefully you changed your mind on this one. Texas A&M finished off a pretty nice night for me.

I say current statistics are a more prominent variable to look at than historical statistics, in regards to choosing a winning pick.

@Dotheopposite - yeah, I know, I lost a good 67$ ~ with them. The amount of turn overs and missed "inside the paint" shots and lays ups they missed was terrible. They did not play like the team I saw them as on paper. Check my other plays tonight they will win ( i never lose)
