My big mistake today was going against two teams playing at home coming off of losses at home. Clemson lost an embarrassing game to FSU and Oklahoma lost a tough one to Kansas both games were home losses. I should have stayed away from both teams. I knew it but I bet it anyway. It ain't over yet today.

I still got 200 coming from Wichita and 300 from UK. Still might make some more picks.

I'm done for the day! Waiting on the Shockers tonight at 8 oclock. Funny thing is I broke my cardinal rule, never bet on your favorite team. I have been a Duke fan for 25 years. I mean I go way back to Gminski and Spanarkel. Anyway my own team put the knife in and twisted it. As Long as the Shockers come through I will only wind up down -130 for the day. Come on Shockers

Duke ruined my day yesterday dropped 520 clams

and Iowa State finally cost me 110 clams

for a total 630 in losses. Now for the wins UK +300

Wichita State barely +200

. Total loss on the day was -130 clams. It could have been a lot worse.

24-5 on the ML and still up 3420 clams! Tough games today going with the over 137 on the Iowa vs Ohio St. 100/110, over 123.5 on the Utah vs Wash St. game 100/110 , over on the Quinnipiac vs St. Peters 138.5 100/110 and Quinnipiac -4.5 50/55. Will look at Illini later.

I'm actually probably going to risk 400 to win 100 in that well. Well not close to 400 as I only have 370 something in the fund. Up from 108 a few days ago so not complaining.

yea Irish I was on Cuse early too because i thought it would close around 11 or 11.5. Instead it took a total 360. Im really confused. Maybe Boeheim called Vegas and said listen boys we aren't going to play our starting lineup more than 15 minutes tonight.

The lines are crazy sometimes. I thought for sure it would not go down but I put that wager in early so, it is what it is but I feel good about Cuse.

I just hit the 1st half on Ragin Cajuns for 100, I still have them also on the ML and Cuse on the ML. If it was me I go for it but you gotta make the call. Think positive!!!! check back later.

Didnt take the Cuse ML. Would of risked whole bankroll of 370 to win 93 or so. I put them, Kansas, and Northern AZ in a 3 tean teaser that payed 2 to 1. 12 bucks bet and won 24. Funds up to 398 and some change on 5 dimes. Cant wait for more games this week.

I had a good night winning all three, the Cuse ML hit for +200 and Louisiana Layfayette ML for +200 and 1st half ULL -5.5 for 100

500 clams to the good. 26-5 on the ML and a total of 3955 in the slush fund.

Now gonna check out tonights action.

O.k. lets go with UK -1, 100/110. I think UK is on a roll now! Wisky -3.5 50/55, like wisky but the road worries me. The Johnnies -2 against DePaul 50/55, St. Johns has lost three in a row this will be a good win. Wichita St. at home vs Bradley 1st half -11 100/110, I think the Shockers got a wake up call their last game with Missouri State a little dose of reality. Now they are home and will get out way in front in the first half. No ML's tonight spreads are to low or In the Shockers case the ML is 3000. I don't think their is any chance of the Shockers losing but I'll give the points a go.

So, I handed 120 back to the Book. Their was a barn burner in Arkansas which I was on the short end of UK cost me -110, Johnnies cost me 55, my own stupidity, Wisky blew a double digit lead and cost me 55, for a grand total of -220 clams

Now Wichita State came through -11 1st half for 100

Leaving my losses for the night -120!

Good thing I stayed away from the moneyline or I would have been really burned.

Any leans tonight Irish? One game that I really like is the ML for South Carolina at TXAM. TXAM should win here as USC is bad and it's only at -260 or so.

I'm liking MSU ML-650, if it wasn't for injuries it would be something like 3000 or more. I also like Stanford but I 'm not sure about Texas A&M, South Carolina is not a bad team, I just might take them +7. Hey they could easily cover 7 and lose the game, then we both are winners.

Taking the ML -650 with the Spartans. I know Payne is out and Dawson is a game time decision but even without Payne they still beat a very good Minnesota team. I Just don't see MSU losing to Northwestern, they have much better guards and Costello 6'9" will still grab some rebounds. I'm confident MSU leaves with the "W" risking 1300 to win 200.

MSU lines my pocket +200 clams on the ML

I must say this it was no easy win and MSU didn't shoot the ball well at all. That NW "D" is not bad at all, glad its over. Crazy ending to that UMASS game! GM should have won it but that's what so great about college basketball, it ain't over till its over. Done for the night +200 good enough! 27-5 on the ML increased funds 4035 clams.

Already laid some clams on the BRUINS vs Colorado, the ML -125, risking 125 to win 100. Should be a good game but I think the way the Bruins are playing really good ball and Dinwiddie is done. That's 14.0 ppg Colorado lost! I think UCLA wins even if they had Dinwiddie.

also added Arizona -750 on the ML, risking 750 to win 100. Can't see the Wildcats blowing a home game against ASU. Rebounding, "D" and shooting and Home court= win. Added Quinnipiac vs Monmouth -600 on the ML, risking 600 to win 100. They dominated Monmouth at Monmouth 94-77. They ridiculously outrebounded them 45-19 and now they are home. Even if they don't dominate I do expect a solid win at home for Quinnipiac. Love this pick! Adding St. johns vs Providence over 131 100/110. Adding St. Johns 1st half over 61 100/110

Just curious, with the spread only 1.5 why bet the ML? Love UCLA in this game, but with the books matching the teams up so closely, why not lay the points?
