Leaning with the UMass also, this team can knock down the 3, plus the guard play is solid with Chazz Williams, athletic frontline that can run up and down the court...Ohio was a decent team last year, they are rebuilding mode with lost of DJ Cooper

This game could be a heavy consensus play, but sometimes you have to go with the better team

I don't see ANYTHING in terms of numbers on Ohio justifying the current line, the only factor i can even see is Ohio's strong home record, but in terms of how they've played so far this season i see nothing that doesn't scream that UMASS should be probably -4 if not -5 at a neutral location i'd say they'd be -6+

bama wasnt bad play last night. Wich St is nasty though. i stayed away from that game. When the public thinks the line is off and its an easy win, strange things happen. UMASS is undefeated and very talented. OHIO is decent at home but doesnt match up well ag UMASS so why would line open at -2.5 ?? because its the superbowl for OHIO. huge game for them. I'm not suggesting u bet OHIO. I'm just saying the line is accurate. its never off.

I've got Massachusetts winning by as much as 10, or Ohio winning by 1 point. If it wasn't for the line movement, I would call Mass easy money. I'm already on Mass, but I don't believe I am going to add any more than the one unit that is already on it.

44-3 last 47 home games. They have played much harder opponents in the past and torched them, now of course the past is the past and I agree but with that said we both will agree that stats are stats. One of the largest home crowds in D1 ball ~14k (largest is 17k). Ohio had 24wins last year and returned most of their players. Now, I want to make it clear...UMASS is the better team but 10 in a row has always tripped teams in the past and I believe the same tonight.

TONS of ball still to be played guys. We have all seen way bigger comebacks than this. St. Bonaventure last night comes to mind. They were winning by 11 at the half, with a +7 spread, and still didn't cover. Not even close to covering

I was wrong. Ohio almost made a run in middle of second but were just too overmatched. congrats to those who won with UMASS. I stayed away. gut wouldn't allow me to bet. there were just too many other more favorable matchups then this game.
