We drop to 6-3 after last nights nightmare. I hate excuses but am looking for one now. Canisius did the best work, out rebounded Buffalo and committed only 6 TO's. Disappointed as we fell to 7-4 on the season. Couple of plays lately we have won the first half and lost in in the second. If this continues we will switch to 1st half plays, but I hope it doesn't come to that. Adding to our frustration yesterday was that my second and third choices won easily, but that's the game. We stick to 1 play a day and make a profit. Today our selection is Delaware +6 against North Dakota State. This will be a high scoring affair and Delaware lights it up to the tune of 83 ppg while shooting 46% from the field and a solid .396% from 3 point land. They also are a better rebounding team than the Bison. Tonight my money is on the Blue Hens. Good Luck all and check back in tomorrow !!

No need to panic. Still above water at 7-5. This was our first back to back losses on the season and I aim not to let that streak continue !! Also this was only our second loss going with an underdog play !! We will get back on the winning track tonight with New Mexico State +8 against New Mexico. Lost to the Lobos 2 games back and look to avenge that game tonight. Excellent shooting will keep the Aggies close tonight and give them a shot at Victory in this in State rivalry. Kind of Luck we needed went our way last night. Raiders only shot 36% from field but 60% from 3-pt range and added 31 of 39 free throws. LSU led by 9 with 3:30 to go but never scored again while Tech forced 3 turnovers during that span. We will take it and push our record to 9-5 to keep the profit coming in. Today I like South Dakota +7.5 against Morehead St. Coyotes have lost last 3 games by total of 7 points to quality opponents after having a 3 game win streak earlier on. Feel like the points are too generous to pass up on a team that gives it their all win or lose. The Coyotes have my attention in this matchup and I look for them to be around at the end. Go Coyotes !!!

I am not even going to try and explain last night. It's not worth using time up on, but I think Morehead St. could have gunned downed Duke last night. I don't remember Duke posting a 120 in quite a while. Our record stands at 9-6, still on the profit side. Today has some very intriguing matchups. Portland / Bradley looks like a too easy to be True favorite in Portland, but that's on paper !!...Princeton / Pacific looks like a tasty matchup of 8-1 teams...So I have capped it out and my best play is Illinois-Chi +1.5 over Cal-Riverside !! The Flames have victories over San Diego and SE Missouri, both quality programs playing well early on. Ill-Chi averaging 74 PPG, and I just don't see a Cal-Riverside team that averages 66 PPG and doesn't boast that strong of a rebounding team keeping up. Go with the Flames. Good Luck.

Thanks for the support funnyman, that's the object for us, stay above the waterline and show a hard earned profit, no matter how small. Today we are going to go with Tulsa Pick it against TCU. Golden Hurricane match up well with TCU, neither one standing out as superior, and Horned Frogs beat them earlier this year in Alaska. While Tulsa had the rebounding advantage, they just did not shoot well that night. Superior rebounding today will be the difference and better shooting will propel Tulsa. Look for Tulsa to avenge that loss with a Win today against TCU !!...Good Luck All !!

Still scratching my head over yesterday...I cap 17 games and my picks go 13-3-1...and you guessed it...I settle on one of the 3 losers in Tulsa...LOL...that's the game so we stand at 10-7 !!...Hey, we have action everyday, which feeds the need, and we are still on the profit side of the program. I'll take it. Tulsa again won the rebounding game against TCU but failed to deliver the blow, leading by 10 then going 6 minutes without a point...lesson learned here...Teams that shoot 60% or so Free Throws are often more likely to lose !!...I'll remember that....On to Today...We are going with OHIO +6 against Richmond...Bobcats are a scrappy team that plays hard to the end and will give the Spiders fits with rebounding and their High Number of assists shows me they are team oriented. I like that. Bobcats plus to get the profit today !!...Good Luck All !!

OK, nice win yesterday on Ohio as they did just as we figured and played hard till the end to earn us a profit. We now stand at 11-7 in this thread and continue to stay on the profit side, which is what we aim to do over the long haul. Today we are going with Loyola-Chi +8.5 over Fordham. The Ramblers shoot over 48% from the floor, and I like their recent efforts winning 3 of 5 with an OT loss to Miss St. by 1 point. Good Luck and a Very Merry Christmas to ALL !!! Ok Here it is. Salmonman ask me a few days ago why I don't post all of my games. Allow me to retort !! I handicap as many as 20 games on a Saturday and as few as 1 or 2 some weekdays. And I only release 1, because I only play 1 !! Here's how I figure it. I have been playing for a long, long time, and seen it all. Most players are looking for 1 thing, The Big Score. Truth is, you'll have days when you hit it, but many more days when you get crushed !!...it's simple Math. I like to think if I hit 3 out of 5 days, playing 110 to win 100 on each play, I'll accumulate $80 every 5 days. Most players say it's not worth my time. OK !...Win $300 and lose $220 every 5 days equals +80. Let's say we play 300 days of the year, taking off 52. That's a profit of $4800 a year, action practically everyday (82% of the days in a year), and you never get crushed !!....Oh, there will be losing streaks, and winning streaks, but neither will last that long no matter how much homework you do. Let's say this goes on 5 years. That's $24,000, 10 years is $48,000...and you never get buried. I have been at it 34 years....you do the Math. My first horse handicapping teacher taught me money management, and I have tweaked it to my advantage and it has worked for me. It's a grind all the way !...A Route Race, not a Sprint !! You can have the Big Kills once in a while, blow it all on Bimbos and Bourbon, and spend the next twelve weeks meeting the Bookie to pay his way to the Good Times !! It's not for me. I'll keep coming up with 1 a day, wait for the Hot streak, stay ahead in the profit chase, and have action almost every day !! This thread is 25 days old and we have had 19 plays. We are 11-8 (57.89%) with a profit of $220 for the $110 player. That's $11 a day. Times 300 days a year that's $3300 a year even at this pace. I'll take it. That's my game, stay ahead in the profit line, never get crushed, and grind it out over the long haul. For the record we are: 1-1 playing games at pick-it; 3-3 when playing favorites; and 7-4 when backing underdogs. You play it any way you see fit, it's each individuals game, but please, keep checking this thread, I like the company and hope I throw out something from time to time that helps you out !! house, I like your style buddy. your clearly a very solid capper... I do pretty well in college hoops with a selective approach. playing 1 play on a day when there is 150 games shows that you have the discipline it takes to turn a pofit.... i think majority of guys here need a ton of action and will bounce from thread to thread cherry picking plays and chasing losses. keep up the good work and i wish you many more winning days then losing ones. happy holidays, -lucky1

I almost passed on the card tonight, but a closer look sold me on DePaul +4.5 tonight against Northwestern. The Blue Demons are better offensively, both shooting and scoring, and match up with the Wildcats in rebounding. This said, it looks like a pretty evenly matched game where this many points will make the difference. I'm on the Blue Demons with the points a bonus. Good Luck and see everyone tomorrow.
